Having problems with your Bissell 6594 PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum ?

Suction is gone have cleaned out all areas that can be cleaned out????is it garbage

Answers :

Is it "garbage"? Not necessarily.

If you're really happy with the vacuum so far, and the motor sounds nice and smooth, it would be worth your while taking it to a service center for a tune-up.

That all depends on the price of a suitable replacement, of course.

I have a Kenmore 116.36932 (upright-bagless vacuum) that the motor protector by-pass valve has opened. I've clean out the area between the agitator brush where the flexible extension hose starts. There was some blockage there. I checked the rest of the system (extenstion hose, back filter area, pipe area to canister and area to side filter. I took the 2 filters out and the by-pass valve is still open. Where else could there be a blockage that I can take apart to clean and put back together

My carpet cleaner (bissell proheat plus) is not steaming, dispensing cleaner. Seems like there's a little thingy that should be spinning or turning..... When I work a small area of carpet, it just leaves behind dry blobs of carpet gunk like pet hair. I had to use a carpet sweeper to clean up. FYI - I filled the cleaning fluid container and after trying to clean the carpet, it did empty out but the carpet isn't wet. Any tips? The manual doesn't help.

Hello, could you help please. I have a Bissel ProHeat 9400-M. The water remains in the bladder when the machine is on, in other words nothing happens and I cannot clean with it. Inside the tank the small flap is in the open position. I have always used your products although I did run the Bissell over an area that had been cleaned with another product. Could that have caused the problem by blocking it somewhere? I have cleaned everything and cannot see a blockage. Thank you for your help.

I also changed the filter.I snapped everything back into place, but Since then, it doesn't seem to have any suction and there seems to be a space between the canister and the bottom of the vacumm where the canister sits. The vacuum is making a noise like something is stuck when it is in the carpet position but not when in the floor position. I can't find anything that is stuck in the areas that I can see. I have cleaned the brush but it does not seem to want to turn. Does this machine need to be oiled so the roller will turn? Is there a way to check inside the motor? Do you think that because the brush won't turn that is making the noise? Do you know of any repair shops in the Lake Havasu City, Arizona area?

As far as the roller brush goes, yes, it does need to be cleaned. Follow the directions to remove it and clean as best you can of all debris. On both ends of the roller brush there will be two "holders" of sort that connect the brush to the frame o ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

There is no power...seems like a motor problem. The bag is clean...the mouth is clean the plug us in...NOTHING! I took mouth off and manipulated/pushed in that power press area that engages the motor on the front (not the switch on the back) and NOTHING! Not sure if motor died and/or what to do now. Help. I have had this baby for 15 years.

The front safety switch must be pushed in by either the hose or head (or manually), before the on/off switch will operate. The most common reason for no power is a bad cord. Second most common is worn carbons in the motor, and third is a bad switch. ... Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum

Carpet cleaning brush noise. When put in carpet cleaning mode, a loud noise comes from the brush bar area. We see no visible obstructions and have cleared threads and hair.

Vacuum sucks up dirt and expells it back onto the carpet as I am using it. I have replaced the bag and took the bottom off to clean - even cleaned up the area where the dirt should go to make sure it was not clogged.

Poor Suction Heya! So I just picked up a used Dyson, but when I vacuum with it, the suction is pretty weak and it spits all kinds of stuff out the back and into my feet. When I pull the hose I have good suction, but in regular mode it hardly picks up anything. The brushes are spinning, and it eventually will clean an area if I go over it again and again. Maybe a clog somewhere? Please tell me that Dysons have better suction than my $50 Dirt Devil! Thanks!
