Having problems with your Bissell 6594 PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum ?

Want suck it is leaving it in the hose and not going in the canister

Answers :

Since this is a 12 amp motor, it's going to have greater suction. You've got to consistently clean all 3 filters or you'll get clogs as the suction is lost.
\015\012If you or your husband don't like taking the entire vacuum apart so often, the alternative is clean it thoroughly once a month, including ALL the filters.
\015\012FYI, if you stick a garden hose in the vacuum hose, you'll have some of the worst mildew stink coming out of it that it will be unusable for quite some time.
\015\012If the hose clogs, you can get a $12.00 drain pipe cleaner used to try to unclog plumbing pipes and twist a coat hanger around the end piece and push it through the vacuum hose.
\015\012I just clean one up thoroughly and it works fine now.
\015\012Clog free=clean thoroughly
\015\012If your rugs are really, really dirty, you'll need to clean it after one pass through all your rugs.

I have an old Miele canister vacuum and I do not know how to disassemble the hose to check for a clog. I think it sucked up a nerf ball the size of a ping pong ball. I changed the bag but it did isn't appear to be in the bag. I have squeezed the hose, I feel no air leaking and do not feel any blockages...what could be wrong. It worked fine the other day and today, it won't pick up a piece of lint!

I have replaced the entire power head and tested the continuity of all the wires in the hose and they are good. The repair shop says the PCB is bad but can not get one. What can I do ?

No suction Just received my refurb. dyson animal bagless. Finally figured out how to get it all together, turned it on and there is no suction coming up thru the beater bar. The hair is just collecting around the bar and not going up into the canister. It appears all the suction is going thru the open red end of the attachment hose, which has a vented cover piece. Am I missing a piece or is there a switch to turn of the attachment suction?

So the red hose isn't connected to a part on the vaccum so like it is connected to the connester but not to an opening just above the beater bar, this is the only idea i can supply you with. good luck, maybe i got lucky and helped you out. ... Dyson DC17 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
