Having problems with your Bissell 7901-1 ProHeat Scotchgard Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum ?

I want to clean fluff from underneath the transparent front panel of my Bissell 11 7901. I have removed the screws from the bottom of the panel, but it remains firmly in place. I do not want to apply apply forceful leverage in case there is something else that needs to be done before the panel will come off. Any suggestions, please? Peter

I just did this one myself, You've done most of the hard work already.Be sure your holding tank is out and not in the way.Double check the down front screws are still out since you sent in you question. Now tweak the front section (the business end) a little up, down, back and forth to help break the suction on the seal. Grab the clear plastic front piece-just the front lip near the floor and gently lift up. If it doesn't come up easily try tweaking it or running water through it to break the seal of whatever detritus is inside which is acting like a paste and holding it together.

My Dyson DC24 sucked in a backpack strap and tripped. I then decided to pull out the brush and clean off whatever else happened to be clung onto it and put it back in. The darn thing doesn't turn anymore. Everyone says to push the reset button in until a click is heard but I put in a bit of force and I haven't heard a click so I stopped because I didn't want to break it. Is there something I haven't checked or do I keep adding force?

If the motor is running and the roller is not turning you may have to let the handle down as you would when you are getting ready to vacuum the flood. I think there is a switch you step on to let the handle down and it will engage the roller bar moto ... Dyson Ball DC24 Bagless Upright Vacuum

I am replacing a foot pedal on an upright Sharp vacuum cleaner-EC-TU2607. I have the broken foot pedal removed from vacuum cleaner proper but it is the removal of the broken pedal from its spring load that has me puzzled. I applied some pulling effort on the pin that holds the spring in place but there doesn't seem to be any give. Is that the correct approach or is there something else that one should be doing first to release some of the resistance by the pin or spring? Thanks!

I have a DC 15 Dyson Ball Vacuum. I've removed and cleaned the filter. I can't get the lid to close properly. I don't want to force it and break something. There is some kind of a red spring loaded tab that seems to be in the way. How do I reseal the top of the vacuum?

The red tab doesn't let the lid close if the filter is not fitted correctly or the wrong filter is fitted. Many after-market filters cause this problem. \015\012\015\012Have you recently fitted a new after-market filter? ... Dyson DC14 All floors Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

The belt on my used Eureka Boss 5857 upright slips off the end of the motor shaft every time the vacuum is used. When I turn the brush roll slowly by hand, the belt walks toward the end of the shaft. It looks like there was a plastic projection from the base that snapped off, and maybe that plastic piece used to block the belt from falling off. Do I need to try to reconstruct that plastic piece, or is something else wrong?

Have a Centralux Aerus about 5 years old. Don't see a model number. There is suction but beater brush quit working. Was using for a few minutes, shut it off for a few minutes, turned it back on and suction only. Tried the reset button also. Tried the sidekick attachment and it works fine. There was no smell like something was hot. Belt is fine. Are there any fuses or anything else to try? This vacuum cleaner has not really been used that much, it is hard to believe the motor would need replaced

The vacuum is making a noise like something is stuck when it is in the carpet position but not when in the floor position. I can't find anything that is stuck in the areas that I can see. I have cleaned the brush but it does not seem to want to turn. Does this machine need to be oiled so the roller will turn? Is there a way to check inside the motor? Do you think that because the brush won't turn that is making the noise? Do you know of any repair shops in the Lake Havasu City, Arizona area?

As far as the roller brush goes, yes, it does need to be cleaned. Follow the directions to remove it and clean as best you can of all debris. On both ends of the roller brush there will be two "holders" of sort that connect the brush to the frame o ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
