Having problems with your Bissell 7901-1 ProHeat Scotchgard Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum ?

My carpet cleaner (bissell proheat plus) is not steaming, dispensing cleaner. Seems like there's a little thingy that should be spinning or turning..... When I work a small area of carpet, it just leaves behind dry blobs of carpet gunk like pet hair. I had to use a carpet sweeper to clean up. FYI - I filled the cleaning fluid container and after trying to clean the carpet, it did empty out but the carpet isn't wet. Any tips? The manual doesn't help.

Water is not being discharged. I have filled the reservoir that holds the carpet cleaner fluid And I have filled the water container. I know how to use the cleaner, it has always worked, But now, no water is being discharged to the carpet. I turn it on, squeeze the trigger, but nothing comes out. The wheel that is suppose to spin (to indicate that water is being discharged) is not spinning. Everything else works. I.e. the suction works, and the hand held accessories work.

That means that the pump belt is worn and it needs to be replaced. You can get a replacement belt and view the manual here:Bissell Pump ... Bissell Carpet Cleaner Powerbrush Deep Cleaner Vacuum

I have a Bissell Steam Cleaner that is not sucking up the water when cleaning. I used a full container of water and when it was empty I emptied out the water, only to find very little dirty water in it. I took the plastic cover off to clean it (it didnt look very dirty in the first place), an i noticed that the grey plastic flap was on but not moving up or down. I thought there may be dirt in it that prevented it from

Asking again. Better wording? My lightweight Bissell carpet shampooer is continually spraying cleaning solution. The sucking action works well but can't keep up. This unit does NOT HAVE A HEATER. This is a simple unit. Is there a cable going down the handle from the trigger? ( it feels like that's the way it works. Could the drain be plugged. Also it will only use 1/2 a tank of solution at a time. Then must be filled again

I have the Hoover max Extract 77 and when I'm cleaning the carpet, the clean water tank leaks on the floor, even if I'm not squeezing the trigger. I have a Bissell Pro 2x carpet cleaner. The water heats properly as well as spraying the cleaning product. However, when I go to suction the water from the carpets, the 2 in 1 water tank bladder works properly but there is no dirty water outside the bladder. So I have done 1 room and all the dirt remains in the carpet
