Sprayer is not working, but leaks water

\015 When i press the handle for the sprayer it does not work. But if i leave the shampooer sitting it will leak very badly. Motor and suction part are all working correctly.\015

I think you have two problems. The leaking is old seals on either the containers, or on the other end (the machine). Try replacing them. There are various part websites for these.
\015\012The problem with the spraying could be the belt that turns the pump. Check it. If it's there its probably not it. The next thing could be the little plastic tubes that go to all the componets inside the machine tend to accumulate buildup. Make sure they are all flowing free. Next try the heating element (its inside the handle area) take it apart and clean it. If all those things are checked and it still doesnt work, it might be what was wrong with mine. The all on one container that holds fresh water and dirty water has a leak. I found mine would spray correctly if i had the lid off the container, and as soon as i would put the lid back on it would stop spraying. I found out that The suction going through the container to **** the dirty water in was also putting a suction on the clean water bladder which caused the water to stop flowing out of the clean water bladder. I ended up getting an all new container with bladder because i could not get anything to seal right due to its age and warpage of the plastic. So to determine if yours is the same issue. Just take the lid off the container and then try to spray water. It may take 10 seconds to get all the tubes primed again because the suction will actually **** all the water back up to the container. If you dont want to replace the container, just spray a few passes with the lid off, then put the lid back on to **** the water back up. Hope this helps. I might not write clearly for everyone to understand, but i hope it helps someone.
I want to clean the clear plactic head , where the dirty water is sucked up thru. It's getting clots of hair and dirt in crevices where the can't be reached. Is there a way to take it apart without destroying the head?

We have a Bissell Proheat 2X (model 8920). The problem we are having is when water/soap is initially released (all settings) it continues to leak out the front water spray nozzles unit the water containers are empty. The vacuum works but can't keep up with the continuous water leaking out. Do you have any idea what is sticking open to allow the continued release of water when the machine is running? Thanks Rick

I have the Hoover max Extract 77 and when I'm cleaning the carpet, the clean water tank leaks on the floor, even if I'm not squeezing the trigger. The clean tank doesn't leak when I fill it, but once I place it where it fits and start using the vacuum, the clean water drains out on the floor. The dirty tank fills up, so the suction works, but, I don't know what is going on?

My sunbeam water cooler model #YLR2-5-67H3 has been sitting unplugged for 3 years. I moved, plugged it in and put a water bottle on top and water went all over the floor. I unplugged it, (read the instructions on the front, duh) and it still leaks on the floor. What should I do? I put it over the sink, emptied it, checked the drain plug, tried running a glass full of tap water through each tap. Only the room temperature one would work.

My Bissell ProHeat 2x is pouring water out of the bottom anytime it's turned on. I had it in the shop for no water, took it back again for the same problem, took it back again because it had no suction, finally took it apart and found the problem with the suction and fixed it myself. Worked fine for a day and now it is constantly leaking water, if it's turned on, and is useless for anything except for making a mess.

Took the unit apart and discovered my heater had small pinholes in the metal and they had put in silicone, instead of a gasket, which didn't seal. Water leak I just bought this steamer a few days ago, and already I am having problems, when I fill the water tank that your suppost to fill the water runs out before I even turn the machine on. I have tried using plugs to keep it from doing this just so I can shampoo my carpet, this seems to work to a point, considering the fact that there are two holes underneath close to the brushes and one just a little ways back from that location. Do you know if this is something that should have plugs or

November 2008 I bought a Simac Stirella 9000D steam generator iron. Recently its been leaking water out the bottom of the regenerator. It makes a noise when it is trying to get the steam to the iron and it works then but afterwards when the noise stops it stops steaming and I find a puddle of water underneath the regenerator. Also a little steam comes out of the water tank at the top. I understand this is happening because of scale in the base unit. Can I get something to get rid of the scale? -
