First check to see if there is suction at the motor duct. If not contact you local BISSELL Authorized Service Center at http://www.bissell.com/customer-support/.
\015\012
\015\012If there is suction,
\015\012a) Check if the small rounded window tabs on the Floor Nozzle are locked in
\015\012their mating slots and not inadvertently lifting the tank up out of place?
\015\012b) Check to ensure oval seal is in place at the top of floor nozzle window.
\015\012c) Check the diverter knob for proper setting and the diverter door opens and
\015\012closes properly. If no, and it does not appear to be broken, remove the floor nozzle window, open diverter door manually, keeping the flat
\015\012side of the door against the unit. Set the diverter knob on the tools setting.
\015\012Manually close diverter door until there is resistance, hold it in place while
\015\012turning the diverter knob towards the floor setting to lock it back in place.
\015\012Reinstall the floor nozzle window. (If diverter door will not lock back in place,
\015\012go to a BISSELL Authorized Service Center).
\015\012d) Check for the black foam gasket under the diverter door. Replace if
\015\012necessary.
\015\012e) Check floor nozzle window to ensure it is screwed down properly. If there is
\015\012a \302\274" gap between the window, where it wraps around to the side of the
\015\012unit, and the base on the slanted section, reinstall window.
\015\012This gap can be eliminated by installing the tabs at the top of the window,
\015\012hold it in place, then push up from the bottom of the window to bow the
\015\012window, push it against the unit and then evenly slide it down into place.
\015\012f) Check half moon window to ensure it is screwed down properly on
\015\012CleanView models. The floor nozzle window should be lower to the floor
\015\012then the half moon window.
\015\012g) Make sure tank is not full on the outside of the bladder.
\015\012h) Check the tank lint screen for debris. Remove it to check.
\015\012i) Check tank lid and tank for damage.
\015\012j) Check float and baffle to ensure they are properly installed properly. The
\015\012baffle should be even with the top of the tank

I have a Kenmore 116.36932 (upright-bagless vacuum) that the motor protector by-pass valve has opened. I've clean out the area between the agitator brush where the flexible extension hose starts. There was some blockage there. I checked the rest of the system (extenstion hose, back filter area, pipe area to canister and area to side filter. I took the 2 filters out and the by-pass valve is still open. Where else could there be a blockage that I can take apart to clean and put back together

I have a Singer Model #4562 sewing machine. I am having trouble adjusting the tension. Everytime I try and turn the knob to adjust the bobbin just gets looser. Right now it just snags and gets caught underneath the material and bunches up into a big ball. There is a lot of thread inside the bobbin case that came out of the bobbin and has to be cut out to free the material. How do I fix this mess. I am a novice at this. Rainbow Vacuum, about 5 yrs old (bought new, no issues prior) - my 6yr old tipped it on it's side while water was in basin. Now when I turn the power on, it makes a very loud sound in the motor and you can feel the vibration on the floor. The suction still works and basin still catches dirt - the noise is just so loud and I'm not sure if I should continue use or how to fix -?

Although a wet/dry vacuum, it cannot tolerate water in the motor. Water will cause the motor to short out, which will cause the motor to act/sound like yours does now, if it continues working at all.\015\012To prevent additional problems, the ... Rainbow E series Canister Wet/Dry Vacuum
