Powerwash Powerbrush machine not sucking

\015 Hi, I have a Powerwash Powerbrush machine; the solution will dispense fine but the machine is not sucking up the dirty water at all. Is it blocked, and if so how do I fix it? The machine picks up a lot of hair from my two dogs, I wonder if it has gotten clogged up somewhere. Thanks\015

Answers :

It might be clogged, but you would be able to see the clog through the clearview water suction area. There are a couple areas to check:
\015\0121. The black gasket where clearview water collecting unit and the base's front meet.
\015\0122. Check if you're getting sufficient suction: remove the water collecting unit. When you turn on the the unit, you'll feel suction out of a black hose pointing upwards next to the grey dial. If you're not getting sufficient suction you need to check that all the gaskets are seated properly. there are 3 gaskets: (1) an orange one seated between the black hose and the base unit (2 and 3): On the bottom of the unit there is a removeable panel. This panel has a gasket (red) and inside there is a white gasket.

Not sucking We have an Oreck XL and today it is blowing out dust instead of sucking it up. I just replaced the belt and about 6 months ago, we took it to our Oreck dealer and had it rehauled. I opened it up to check all and it all looked fine. Then I tuned on the machine while unzipped and noticed that the bad does not inflate as it used to. What can I do? Thanks, Connie [email protected]
