Having problems with your Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X CleanShot Upright Deep Cleaner, Red Berends Vacuum ?

My Bissell ProHeat 2x is pouring water out of the bottom anytime it's turned on. I had it in the shop for no water, took it back again for the same problem, took it back again because it had no suction, finally took it apart and found the problem with the suction and fixed it myself. Worked fine for a day and now it is constantly leaking water, if it's turned on, and is useless for anything except for making a mess.

Answers :

Took the unit apart and discovered my heater had small pinholes in the metal and they had put in silicone, instead of a gasket, which didn't seal. So much for the place I took it to "saving" my heater for me. I repaired it myself by getting a few o-rings and a seal from the hardware store. As for the "holes" in the bottom - a little marine fixative.

Shark s3325 stopped working while steaming; thinking the unit had ran out of water I allowed unit to cool before refilling, however unit over flowed with only 700ml water added. When I plugged unit back into outlet it would not turn on (red light was not on) but I hear a click upon plugging in unit, when turning unit power button on and when turning on the handle switch. Please advise how to resolve this problem.

Suction Problem I just borrowed the Hoover Steam Vac Deluxe w/ 5 brush agitator from my neighbor and it worked ok for the first few minutes, although the suction would stop and go. When I had enough water to dump I did it and when I put it back on it no longer sucked the water up from the carpet. She admits to having it for 15 years, but why did it have to break on me. Hoover WindTunnel S3765. The motor spins and the belt turns when I turn the brushes on, and the brushes will spin. The problem is that when I do this on carpet, the brushes stop spinning. As soon as I pull the "head" off the carpet, the brushes spin again. It's almost as if the vacuum suction is too great. I took the head apart and watched the motor turn the metal spindle that the belt rests on, and the belt turns as well.

The belt is stretched and needs replacement.(Belt # 38528036) . The brush is not turning against resistance. ... Hoover Vacuums

I have a DC07 and the brush wasn't rotating and I had no suction at the brush but perfect suction through the hose. I noticed a large build up of dog hair around the brush so I took off the cover plate and removed all the hair, cleaned inside the floor/brush housing and cleaned out the hose. I also cleaned the filter and removed the other air access cover and made sure that they were clear. I put everything back and the brush still doesn't turn and there is still no suction through the bottom

Water leak I just bought this steamer a few days ago, and already I am having problems, when I fill the water tank that your suppost to fill the water runs out before I even turn the machine on. I have tried using plugs to keep it from doing this just so I can shampoo my carpet, this seems to work to a point, considering the fact that there are two holes underneath close to the brushes and one just a little ways back from that location. Do you know if this is something that should have plugs or

I was trying to repair my wife's kitchenaid mixer and took part of it apart, including the back part, where the electrical connections are. The original problem was the plastic gear was damaged -- I finally had the good sense to find the solution for that problem on the internet and replaced the damaged part. But now the mixer just won't turn on. I don't think I damaged anything in the electrical section, but I suspect I either blew a fuse or somehow disconnected something.

I have a new (couple of months) Cuisinart Espresso Maker EM-100C. One has to turn on the power button on the front in order for the unit to heat the water. The button will only work if the two manual knobs are in a certain position. Very occasionally, it took a few tries to get the button to turn on. Now it usually does not work but will once in a while. Any ideas what we could do to repair this problem?

On the back of my lg kompressor vacuum below the retractable cord is a suction plug that keeps sucking in when the vacuum is turned on it is supposed to stay out the increase suction. what is the solution for this problem.

Good day, I took off the cover on a proheat upright, to install the suction diverter flap. Guy at the shop told me I had to do this but I don't think it was really necessary. Anyway, I am having a real job getting the cover back on. The shampoo mix piston seems to be causing the problem seating the two halves correctly. I see no obvious "right: way to put the piston back in. can anybody help me. Thanks Richard

Had my dyson root cyclone for about 4 years now, and in the last year it's had a few problems. About 4 months ago it started to make this awful grinding sound when the roller bar was engaged and I took it to a repair shop and they said it was the roller bar itself. The shop replaced the part and it worked fine for a couple of months and then it started to make the grinding noise again. Vacuum either stops for no reason and can't be restarted without unplugging and waiting 1/2 hour to restart, or it simply will not turn on at all. The red light comes on when the "On" button is pressed. I took it back today for the 4th time in a month to where it was purchased. They called later and said it was running fine and they could not detect a problem. The last three times they have (1) replaced the roller brush, (2) "unclogged" the vacuum, and (3) "adjusted" the belt.

I have the same problem as discussed above. My Hoover Pet Cyclonic upright stops working while using it. The bottom feels hot when this happens. When it first occurred, I emptied the canister and even tried a different plug. It did not turn back on for over an hour. When it did turn back on, it would die again after about 3-5 minutes of use.
