I have a Hoover linx cordless stick vac. I have not had it but several months and it has quit sucking anything up. It worked great when I first got it. I was so excited at how well it worked. Hello! I have a problem with my Tefal Sensio scales. They are now probably around four years' old and have been in perfect working order up to now. Well, I had some problems before - the moment I'd step on them, instead of going into "calculating mode" as they usually do, they would show the number 92 straight away and then the display would change into some strange symbols (please don't laugh here :-) - my weight in kg is 55, my husband's around 80 and each of us gets 92 reading). My Vacuum DC-17 has just quit sucking. It has been making quite a racket since I had the belt changed at a repair shop several months ago. I was told that the belt was a new design and figured that was why it was making so much noise. it seemed to work fine, was picking up dirt and all, but today, when I started vacumming, I noticed it was not sucking air either with the belt engaged or not. My vacuum is approx. 5 years old.

I have an electrolux genesis upright vacuum that I bought used about 8 years ago. It has been A great vacuum the best I ever had. I thought the belt had come off so I took it in for repair. They called today and said that the brush rotor motor was bad and it would be around 148.00 dollars to repair. I have a Harmony vacuum that's a couple years old. I recently sucked a fair amount of dog hair into it and was unaware something was amiss since the things so quiet. It just shut down and wouldn't come back on. 10 minutes or so later it came back on but now it's got no sucking power. I figure I torched the motor. Good guess? Hi I’ve got a Panasonic vacuum cleaner MC E468 1600W a few years old now but works well up to recent problem. Not picking up I checked the obvious things and found excessive air being sucked in around the hose housing at the back of the vacuum (as it enters the waste bag) On inspection it appears to me as if there should be some sort of gasket that may have perished and been sucked in, however I can’t identify any such part. Any thoughts on what the problem/solution may be will be appreciate

The hose on the back might be loose - check to see that the hose is not obstructing anything where it screws in at the back - or indeed the screws may be loose themselves; some of the MCE 468 models had an additional ring washer that sits between the ... Panasonic Vacuums
