Having problems with your Bissell Healthy Home HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum - Metallic Blue ?

My brush is no longer working on my bissell healthy home vac. when i try to turn it on it makes a high pitched squealing sound. I'm pretty sure it needs a new belt but my husband is having trouble getting the vac. apart. He says you need a special tool to get the screws out of the bottom of the vac. Any advice? THANK YOU!

Motor/Fan does not run. I have removed and taken the top of the canister plastic motor housing apart and tested for power. I have power through the cord to the switch and power from the switch to the two wire terminals. I have not removed the motor. Looks like I will need special tools to take out the motor. I have removed the hose, Nothing there.. And yep have removed the yellow thing inside the trash cup.. Is there anything else you could suggest??

I've even tried a few different outlets just in case a fuse got tripped, but the vac still won't turn on. What happened? Do I need to return this vac to the store? I just bought it 5 hours ago.
