Having problems with your Bissell Powergroom Pet Vacuum ?

I have a new Bissell power groom pet, 67E2 that I purchased a while back. It has never been used. I am trying to use the pet tool adapter. Do I disconnect the flex hose (handle end) from the telescoping wand to use the pet tool adapter? And, if so, how do I disconnect them?

I'm using Miele Medivac vacuum and I just sucked in a small plastic eye drop container by accident(I sometimes take off the brush part to **** in 'small enough' articles). And it is jammed in the part where the plastic hose connector bends. I think I can take it out if I can just disconnect the long necked plastic hose connector that connects the metal wand part and the hose part. Is it designed to be disconnected or should I not even try it?

My Bissell BS3920F upright (similar to the 10N6F) has been working wonderfully for the past 3 years but suddenly seems to not pick up dog hair as well as it used to. It has been pulled apart by my husband to ensure nothing is blocking the hoses etc and when running the suction seems to be there. It seems to grab the dog hair and leave it in a straight line directly under the unit without picking it up. I then disconnect the hose and use to hose to pick up the dog hair. I have a Model 116.35922500 Kenmore upright vacuum cleaner. It makes a loud air noise when using the vacuum. I have a Dyson 17, the Absolute Brand special for pet hair. I think I have a blockage in the hose. Symptoms are: spewing out fuzz balls and small particles. I have checked all the blockage sites recommended by Dyson and all are clear except a small flexible transparent hose, 6 or 7 inches long, curled up underneath the cleaner head/brush bar unit. Any ideas? I've tried to pull out the stuff stuck in there, but I'm afraid to perforate the hose and I don't know any way to disconnect it.
