Having problems with your Bissell Vacuums ?

I bought a Bissell Poweredge Pet vacuum from target. There were no boxed products so I took it off the shelf. The instructions are in the clear filter, but I can't get the vacuum to release and let me get the instructions. How do I ge the instruction pamphlet out of the clear filter portion of the vacuum?

Clogged Bissell After debris clears the brush part, it gets clogged at the point of entrance into the machine, barely anything makes it through the filter and into the canister. Clogs immediately after a few swipes of the carpet. Had vacuum for almost 3 years.

On the DC07, the entire cyclone assembly must be removed to empty the dust, debris, etc. collected when vacuuming. On the top of the cyclone is a "trigger" that you lift with your finger to release the bottom catch, which allows a clear flap to open on the "clear bin," thus letting all the debris fall out. My problem is when you lift the finger trigger, it does not release the catch on the bottom. Since the catch won't release, I cannot remove the entire clear bin either from the cyclone.Any sug

I have a nearly 9 year old Electrolux Excellio Z5228 vacuum cleaner. It has recently started cutting out during operation. I cleaned the micro filter (between bag & motor) via brush & hitting against wall & seems / looks quite clean. I have had my Bissell 6591-X for 2 years. I hate it! No matter what I do all the fuzz, hair, whatever fills up around the upper filter before it even starts to deposit in the cup. It has done this ever since I bought it. No matter how much I take it apart, clean it, clean filters, empty the cup, nothing does any good. I spill more dirt onto the vacuum and floor than ever gets in the cup. I will never buy another Bissell.

I have a Craftsman wet dry vac with blower capability (22 L). While I was using it to **** up water, the water came out of the blower hose. Now I can't get it to work as a vacuum. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there a toggle switch somewhere that allows me to choose vacuum or blower? Also, will the vacuum still work without the filter nut attached to the plate? Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I just used my Bissell Proheat, when I heard the vacuum sound get lower and lower then suddenly something "gave" and it got very loud and started emitting a burnt rubber smell. It still worked to put liquid into the carpet; seemed to have trouble getting it out. I checked the tank, filters, belt, and roller and all seemed OK - but when I started up again and looked down I saw sparks in the motor/belt area and shut it down immediately. Any thoughts?
