Having problems with your Bissell Vacuums ?

The Lower body of the Bissell QuickSteamer, water pours out from the body. Solution: I took apart the machine and there is a spring loaded valve with a rubber washer at the bottom. Think of the letter T upside down with the rubber washer on it. The washer stretches over the bottom and the spring creates a leakproof plug and won't allow water to pass till the button on the handle is pressed. This old washer came partially off and allowed water to leak. I purchased from the plumbing dept. a mi

ShopVac pump The waterhose connection is up high. The only way to get the water up to the level of the hose is to continually hold down the on button due to the automatic shut off after it fills to a certain level. On the bottom of the filter there is a hole. I am thinking there should be a small hose of some sort to put into that hole that would then lead up to the level of the water hose. Concept makes sense to me. But in the meantime, good old duct tape seems to have done the trick. Not exact

Brushes won't turn on the bissell proheat 2X steam cleaner-I don't have the manual to see if there is a button I am not pushing to turn on the brushes. Also, do you put the clean water in the "bladder" in the tank? Sorry I am so dumb-this cleaner was given to me with no manual and I can't figure it out.
