We have a series 90S, 2.5 gallon Shop Vac. We used it for the first time to try and **** up water in the basement. Each time we turned it on, it would shut down after collecting less than 1" of water. We had to remove and squeeze out the foam sleeve each time, before it would work again (nowhere near 2.5 gallons!). Any ideas? Is the plastic sleeve that can move up and down inside, the float (poorest manual I've ever seen!)? Should there be a ball float that we're missing? Thanks for any s

Our problem with our Rainbow E Series is that it has sucked water up and blown it out through the lower part of the hepa filter, making the filter wet and dirty. Now it has happened again and ruined another filter. Do you know what could be causing this issue? Can the filter be cleaned or will a new one be

I have a Craftsman wet dry vac with blower capability (22 L). While I was using it to **** up water, the water came out of the blower hose. Now I can't get it to work as a vacuum. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there a toggle switch somewhere that allows me to choose vacuum or blower? Also, will the vacuum still work without the filter nut attached to the plate? I just bought a shop vac to **** up the winter slop in the garage. the first time I used it, it worked perfectly but the 2nd and 3rd times I used it, it spits water from the exhaust. Why? For the first time, I tried using my Kirby Sentria shampoo attachment. I've lost the manual but found instructions online for making the swap from regular vac to shampoo-er and got it all assembled. The foam laid down just fine, however, when I run the vac back over the foam to pick it up, there is not a stitch of water showing up in the tray. First I thought maybe it was bc I hadn't put that much of the foam/water onto the carpet, but 12 hours later, the carpet is still wet in spots. Clearly

My Shop Vac (Brand) Mdl#934-16-11 keeps shutting off while I'm dry vacuuming. I can turn it back on then it will shut off again. The filter is spotless, so that's not the issue. There isn't any reset buttons. The only thing I can think of is that the float for wet vacuuming is somehow being sucked up causing the the motor to be tripped off. The vacuum is only about a year and a half old and used only sparingly. Help!
