I cant remove the houseing off the bottom of the motor can someone plz help

Start by taking the bottom off and remove the brush roller and belt.go back to the top and on each side of the upright where it meets the base you will see 2 plastic covers that are held in by screws take those out and that will disinguage the upright from the base.next you will see screws on the front and on the back of the motor housing,take those out.on the back right above the pedal you will see a screw take that out.right below that is the intake hose thats held on by 2 screws,take those out you should be able to open up the motor housing

I have a Necchi LYdia 3 machine type 544 The motor was overheating and I removed the bottom cover and examined the motor .It looked fine and ran well. I have a DC07 and the brush wasn't rotating and I had no suction at the brush but perfect suction through the hose. I noticed a large build up of dog hair around the brush so I took off the cover plate and removed all the hair, cleaned inside the floor/brush housing and cleaned out the hose.
