Having problems with your Dirt Devil M086700 Vision Bagless Upright Vacuum ?
Missing part on motor shaft?
\015 I've been replacing the belts on my Dirt Devil Vision Wide Glide Vacuum R086700 only to have them wear out prematurely. After taking a really close look, I discovered that the motor shaft was bare metal. Is that suppose to be the case? If not, what is the part that should be and how do I find it.\015
The reason the belts are burning up so quickly is the old rubber from the other belts is still on the motor shaft.clean the shaft down to the polished finish then put on a new belt.make sure your brush roller turns freely .thats the other possiblity.the brush roller might be bad.sometimes hair and dirt get twisted around the ends and keeps it from turning

I have a kenmore upright 12 amp (M.N. 116.30003402C) vacuum that is not drawing anything up the hoes. There is no obstrution in the hoes and motor, belts, components are working, but there seems to be perhaps something missing(a part) or lost in the macinism that aids in drawing the air required to **** dust/dirt through the hoes and into the bag. Perhaps a diagram of parts and their function would help. Thank you.

On several occasions the belt has come off the Hoover Windtunnel beater shaft and had to be re-installed. Is there any way to prevent it from slipping off? The shaft seems to be made so that the middle if it is wider(thicker than either the end or the part closer to the motor, which, to me, is a bad design so I don't know how to overcome this problem. I'd be very grateful for a permanent solution to this problem. Thanks in Advance, mas

I have a Eureka 5902AVZ and the brushroll does not work. when i remove the belt, which is not torn nor worn out, the motor spins perfectly fine. Though when i put the brushroll back into place, it shows that the motor is trying to spin, but with resistance. it seems the brushroll will not spin if locked into place, because there is no attachment on the left side of the brushroll that will allow it to spin freely with the belt. am I missing some parts or is there something else wrong?

I have an old Shop Vac model 3331.5. This is a 12 gallon 1.5 hight peak shop vac with a detachable blower. After many years I decided to use the blower feature, but have lost the lost the manual. Question; how do I attach the hoses to the blower? The motor has that cap on it the direct the flow of air in one direction and the wide hoses do not fit over it. I may be missing a part, but I would think the directional cap would have to come off anyway.
