My Dyson DC25 animal is having issues. I believe everything is working correctly except I have realized that the mechanism which switches the hose/valve between the wand and the vacuum head isn't working properly. The two gear pieces that move the hose placement aren't close enough together, so they don't work together. It looks like there is a washer that I could potentially remove on the clear gear piece which would allow it to sit closer to the assembly. Would that work? Currently I am

I purchased a brand new P113 Ryobi charger about 2 years ago. It has never worked. If I put a P104 battery in for a charge, it looks like it works correctly. I push the battery tester on the battery itself, and it says full charge, but when I go to use the bateery, it dies right away. I have tried three new P104 batteries. The batteries charge on my charger at work with no problem. The funny thing is, I don't need a battery in the charger and the charger does the same thing, It runs the test

If you have your receipt, check with Ryobi to see if it is still under warranty. It comes with either a 2 or 3 year warranty, depending on when it was purchased. If it is still covered, get it replaced/repaired. If it is not, buy the P117 charger. $3 ... Ryobi P113 18 Volt One Charger 140501001

My purple Dyson Animal (without the ball) isn't working correctly. When I turn it on, the red power light, as well as the medium pile buttons flashes. When I first turn it on, the brush rotates for 3 to 5 seconds, then once I start moving the vacuum, it stops and that's when the lights start flashing. I've checked the filters, they are dry and installed correctly. What could be the problem?

I dropped my battery operated alarm clock: the second hand still works but the alarm doesn't come on at the set time and the hour & minute hands don't "hold" their position - I took the clear front off and discovered that I could move the hands to a more secure place on the center spindle but I discovered during the night that the correct time was no longer showing. My Windsor Sensor XP12 says the bag is full when it's not. I have removed the hose, brush, and filter and cleaned everything. I can put a bag on without the cover and it works great. However, when I add the bag to the front cover and close the latch the right way, it does not work. I'm thinking that the cover is not seating the bag correctly over the hole, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions?
