My DC-25 will not return to the upright position. I emailed Dyson support and the response was: "The DC25 stabilizer wheels will not lock into position if the “spokes” on the red pedal are not seated correctly." I agree with that assessment, but cannot figure out how to get the spokes on the red pedal to seat correctly. The manual is useless for this problem since that part of the vacuum cleaner came already assembled, so the manual does not address it. Help.

It sounds like the undercarriage unit has failed. It is a common problem on ball models. The DC25 is a recent model so would still be under Dyson's 5 year guarantee. Get them out to it. ... Dyson DC15 All Floors - The Ball Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I Have two questions concerning my AIRVAC AV2500 Red Series Vacuum System. How do you replace the light in the floor power head sweeper and can you replace the permanent fabric filter? We had the system installed in 2004 and the light in the sweeper head just went out and can not find any manual on line on how to replace it. The filter if not torn but avter 6 years it probably needs some kine of cleaning or replaced even though it says permanent. Any help would be appreciated. Jim McCluskey

I took my Dyson DC 25 Animal apart to clean it, and now the red foot pedal won't lock the vacuum into the upright position anymore. The trouble is the spring pin for the pedal popped out and I can't figure out where it is supposed to go.

That spring thing goes where the pedal screws into the side. When 'facing' the dyson in the front, it's on the left side. The spring's circle part and short stem section goes into a divot area on the pedal. The other end is tensioned (braced) a ... Dyson DC25 All Floors Bagless Upright Vacuum

My son dropped the vacuum down the stairs and now the vacuum works but the front part of the vacuum does not drop back down when vacuuming any type of floor. Miele, Flamenco II. 2 probs. 1. the head brush is not turning when I put it on the floor. If I pick it up to look inside...the brush is spinning fast..I put it down on the floor...the head does not spin at all. 2. The suction power has dropped significantly. The suction used to be so intense, the head would **** itself to my floor and hold on...now, hardly any suction at all.

Sounds like the belt is not on correctly on the beater brush or the belt is worned out now for the suction check filters or bags that need to be empty or clean ... Miele Vacuums

My dyson vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to have the same suction power it used to. I have cleaned out the canister and have taken apart the vacuum head (for cleaning carpets) and it doesn't seem to be blocked but it seems to lose suction by the time it reaches the head. The suction is strong at the end of the hose (where you attach the telescopic attachment with vacuum head) Any ideas? Thanks, Irene
