\015\012Most suction problems are caused by a clog from picking up something you probably didn't see or if you have pets an accumulation of pet hairs!
\015\012
To clear it out take a metal coat hanger and unbend it til it's straight, then bend the end and tape it so when you push it through to unclog your vac it doesn't rip the hose.
\015\012
\015\012Push the coat hanger in from the bottom brush area through the opening where the suction is. Also push it in and out anywhere else you can......You'll probably find something clogged....keep working it til it loosens and intermittently turn on the suction.
\015\012
\015\012If you have a second vac with a hose, use that hose for suction on the clogged vac!
\015\012
\015\012This should do it!

My Dyson DC17 has lost suction on the wand and is not picking up dirt as it should. I have taken the small part at bottom of the machine off to see if there is a blockage--none that I can see. The flexible tube on wand is very tight and won't extend very much. Dyson sent me a new cyclonic part in April but the machine still doesn't seem to be working properly. My serial number is 260-us-d11545. Is there somewhere I can take my Dyson to get it fixed. I'm very frustrated with it. Thank you.
