Brush bar came out on one side
\015 I was cleaning the brush bar and it came out on one side and now it won't go back in. Can anyone help?\015
Check that the brush bar is sitting into its proper washers at both sides of the Dyson model; sometimes it can fall out of its holding if the sole plate cover hasn't been put on properly. Also check that there is nothing obstructing the beater bar and the drive belt. \015\012

My Bissell Model 3760-4 is not working properly. The belt has been replaced (and checked 3 times), but the brush bar does not move when the brush motor button is on. The little metal turning piece that turns the belt is turnable with one's finger when the belt is off, but when we put it all back together and turn on the vacuum, the brush bar does not go around and the burning belt smell returns. I have a roomba 551. Have cleaned and removed every bit of dirt and hair off it bu the brush cage won't close when the larger bush is put in. The cage will only click locked on one side, and the other side keeps hitting the brush and won't close. It's almost as if the bursh itself is not even, but this doesn't seem to be the case either. I've even tried removing the yellow rings, but makes no difference. Occasionally it runs fine, but most of the time the roomba just hobbles and clacks as i

I bought a fantom vacuum on HSN about 9 years ago.Whan it was delivered the first one was broken so they sent a second one.tThat one also was cracked on covering for brush. I called and they told me they were no longer available,so I kept that one, since it would cost me shipping to return. The back right side wheel evenually cracked and fell off.I was able to put it back on and it would stay for a few weeks or so.It now has a large piece of plastic that has broken off the wheel where the bolt fit
Hoover Bagless Hello, My Hoover bag less (Model U5280-900) is not picking up dirt like it should. The brush roll is spinning fine, but the bristles on it are only about one quarter inch long. The product bar below did not contain my model no. The correct model no. is above in my message. Thanks

I noticed the Roomba's brushes were not sweeping, or turning so they could sweep. There was a new sound coming from the machine, the sound of grinding nylon! Upon inspection, I determined the problem to be a heat melted gear support hole. The hole was no longer round but oblong. You could see a ridge of plastic around this hole. So melting I believe was the culprit. The gear that uses that hole was then able to tilt to one side, thereby allowing the gear to disengage from the drive train. I
