Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. Could there be something I did not remove or is this typical on these vaccuums?

My Dyson DC14 Animal doesn't have the suction it used to. The piece in the back on the bottom - a flap it appears - stays open now, causing the machine to make a louder noise than usual. At first, if I put my hand on the flap opening it would close, allowing for normal suction. Now, it stays "open" permanently", causing the loss of suction.

My Dyson DC07 has recently been service and was making a clattering noise and very hard to push. We have taken it back and he has changed the clutch mechanism under the base which has solved the clattering, but it is still really hard to push because of the suction. It is even lifting the carpet in one room. Can you tell me what the possible reasons for this could be? One thought we had was that the little rubber wheels on the bottom cover could have worn so the hoover is closer to the floor
On the sole plate you should have 5 little wheels, these are prone to jamming after a while. You should make sure these are not jammed in anyway.\012\012You can release these with a screwdriver, but be careful not to prize too hard as you ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have an animal dyson. The front nose dives into the carpet when moving the dyson in the forward motion, fine when pulling back. A huge amount of effort is required to move it forward. Took it to a technician and he said he could find nothing wrong. He had only short nap carpet for test. My Dyson DC17 has lost suction on the wand and is not picking up dirt as it should. I have taken the small part at bottom of the machine off to see if there is a blockage--none that I can see. The flexible tube on wand is very tight and won't extend very much. Dyson sent me a new cyclonic part in April but the machine still doesn't seem to be working properly. My serial number is 260-us-d11545. Is there somewhere I can take my Dyson to get it fixed. I'm very frustrated with it. Thank you.

Hi: My DC14 (not animal version) has 3 major cracks that have pretty much killed the thing. There are three 'columns' that run down from the handle to the base. From the back, the left one has either the intake or outflow for the canister and the right one has the reverse. The middle one is where the base of the extension hose and cord is mounted. On all three the plastic has cracked at about the point where the bottom of the canister meets the permafilter. The vacuum is useless now and
