VACUUM REPAIR I have a Hoover Savvy upright, windtunnel, bag/bagless vacuum (model U8150-900). The Handle Release Foot Pedal - Part #38434026 broke soon after purchase but I finally found a source to replace this item. The problem is that now that I have the repair part I cannot figure out how to remove the old pedal and install the new one. The housing appears to be one piece of solid plastic. Any ideas, PLEASE! Peter

There are 2 tabs that stick out on the release, they fit in slots, so from the top look down and you can see them, using a flatblade screwdriver that will fit in there, push the side in to release it, which isn't easy, but it can be done. When you g ... Vacuums

I am replacing a foot pedal on an upright Sharp vacuum cleaner-EC-TU2607. I have the broken foot pedal removed from vacuum cleaner proper but it is the removal of the broken pedal from its spring load that has me puzzled. I applied some pulling effort on the pin that holds the spring in place but there doesn't seem to be any give. Is that the correct approach or is there something else that one should be doing first to release some of the resistance by the pin or spring? Thanks!

My Singer Izek sewing machine starts and stops and wont sew continuously. When I push down the pedal it sews about 2 inches then stops and light starts flashing, I have to let off of the pedal and push it again, over and over. It did this once before for awhile and then just started sewing right for awhile and now its started it again. I've checked everything.

If it's not the thread and not the pedal then it's definitely a power problem. You need to replace the power cable and then check again the functionality. ... Vacuums

I just bought a Tfal Ultimate Autoclean iron FV 9450. I am reading through the manual and trying to figure out all the parts and functions. I cannot figure out how to remove the anti calc valve. I see it is part # 12 on the drawing but that piece on my iron (the bit with the little circles on it where it says, " anti calc plus') seems to be a flat piece of integrated plastic with no give or slide to it. .I cannot see how I'd possibly remove it. Hello, could you help please. I have a Bissel ProHeat 9400-M. The water remains in the bladder when the machine is on, in other words nothing happens and I cannot clean with it. Inside the tank the small flap is in the open position. I have always used your products although I did run the Bissell over an area that had been cleaned with another product. Could that have caused the problem by blocking it somewhere? I have cleaned everything and cannot see a blockage. Thank you for your help.

My DC-25 will not return to the upright position. I emailed Dyson support and the response was: "The DC25 stabilizer wheels will not lock into position if the “spokes” on the red pedal are not seated correctly." I agree with that assessment, but cannot figure out how to get the spokes on the red pedal to seat correctly. The manual is useless for this problem since that part of the vacuum cleaner came already assembled, so the manual does not address it. Help.
