Having problems with your Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

We replaced the short hose that connects the sucking part to the hole where the dirt goes underneath my Dyson DC07 but now the side of the hose that needs to attach to the machine falls off.

\015 This hose has nothing to do with the cleaning hose, the attachment, or a "handle wand". This is a small hose that is an actual part of the machine and involves moving the dirt from the ground into the canister.\015

Answers :

I know the hose you are talking about it is called the DC07 internal hose. Over time the ends can stretch and perish which will mean you need to purchase a new one. Amazon or VacuumSpot will be able to help you out here. If you have some gasket adhesive you could use some of that on the end (use gasket adhesive not glue because gasket adhesive can be removed whereas glue will make a mess).
I will also post a video which show how to properly dismantle this part of your dyson in case you may have made a assembly error.

Hi my proheat bissell 7901 stopped pumping water to the floor, but it pumps water from the hand hose. I read the manual and followed how to check belt and the flat belt on right side of shampooer is fine and I turned on and it turns and so do the brushes at the bottom of the machine. I was reading online and I guess there's two belts on this machine? where can I find the other belt to see if it needs replacing. I guess it's a ribbed belt? that is the water pump belt?

A tear in the hose will only affect pick up through the hose when using it to clean furniture, stairs, and such. It will have no effect on the carpet cleaning operation. I have a Dyson DC07 Yellow Vac, I use this vacuum professionally and clean it after every job so there is no issues with the filter which are replaced regularly. When you turn it on it makes a noise as if it were blocked....I have checked all pipes, hoses and now disassembled the machine to the point where the motor is out.
