Dyson dc07 yellow/blue no suction at base

\015 Full suction through hose floor rota turning belt ok but no suction at floor\015

Answers :

Sounds like you've **** up something which is obstructing the suction from the brush bar. There's a little section of curved grey pipe near the base which carries the dirt from the head up the vertical pipe at the back. This section can be removed, check there is nothing jammed in there, paper etc.
I had the very same problem and here is what I did to return functionality to my unit: There is a short piece of flexhose that connects the base "head" to the rotary section of the vacuum. I discovered that mine had fallen out as there are no screws or clasp holding it in place. I simply pushed the hose back into the housing and my problem was resolved. Id attach a pic, but not sure this forum provides the ability to do so. Please be careful when trying to push this hose back into position. If you are tempted to use a screwdriver (or any hard/sharp object) please be careful not to puncture the hose as this will greatly reduce the suction of your unit. Good luck!

My Dyson DC07 has recently been service and was making a clattering noise and very hard to push. We have taken it back and he has changed the clutch mechanism under the base which has solved the clattering, but it is still really hard to push because of the suction. It is even lifting the carpet in one room. Can you tell me what the possible reasons for this could be? One thought we had was that the little rubber wheels on the bottom cover could have worn so the hoover is closer to the floor

On the sole plate you should have 5 little wheels, these are prone to jamming after a while. You should make sure these are not jammed in anyway.\012\012You can release these with a screwdriver, but be careful not to prize too hard as you ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

Hi loss of suction on Dyson DC07 and I have changed the belt on the brushbar and cleaned all filters/removeable parts but still suction not very good, any other suggestions?

Check for a clog where the power nozzle connects to the hose. Clogs or leaks in the hose will both cause loss of suction/air flow. Another possibility is broken or worn out fan blades. ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

My manual says it is DC07, but it is pink and silver in colour. I have 2 problems, firstly the brush has stopped spinning, but belt appears intact. Secondly there are tiny holes in suction pipe near brush i.e. the little section of suction pipe at base of vacuum cleaner.

Hi there, \015\012The DC07 came out in a few different variations so the colour only indicates that yours has a hepa filter. The first problem can be caused by a few different things\015\0121. the brush roller bearings are worn or siexed. ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
