My DC-25 will not return to the upright position. I emailed Dyson support and the response was: "The DC25 stabilizer wheels will not lock into position if the “spokes” on the red pedal are not seated correctly." I agree with that assessment, but cannot figure out how to get the spokes on the red pedal to seat correctly. The manual is useless for this problem since that part of the vacuum cleaner came already assembled, so the manual does not address it. Help.

It sounds like the undercarriage unit has failed. It is a common problem on ball models. The DC25 is a recent model so would still be under Dyson's 5 year guarantee. Get them out to it. ... Dyson DC15 All Floors - The Ball Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit. The problem started when the little purple ridged curved part on front of vacuum cleaner right below handle came loose and a spring fell out from somewhere--don't know where. I pushed on the purple ridge part and it snapped back on. Now, can't get it loose again, don't know where the spring goes, and handle still comes loose from vacuum.

I'm not positive whether or not this is the wand handle because there are several versions of the DC14. However the device the locks and unlocks the wand in place is pretty similar between all the versions. The first picture is the wand re ... Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have the same problem as discussed above. My Hoover Pet Cyclonic upright stops working while using it. The bottom feels hot when this happens. When it first occurred, I emptied the canister and even tried a different plug. It did not turn back on for over an hour. When it did turn back on, it would die again after about 3-5 minutes of use. I don't know what else to try. I have washed the secondary filters, let them air dry and replaced them and this did not help the problem. My friend,

My Dyson DC25 got stuck and wouldn't return to the upright position, I figured out that one side had jumped the track and gotten stuck in the square hole below the track. I did not want to break the plastic to force it back, so I removed the screw on the right side that was holding the kick stand on and removed the kick stand, also a spring thing came out. Problem is, now I have no idea how to re-install the kickstand. Can't find a technical manual or video anywhere, it can't be very difficul

My purple Dyson Animal (without the ball) isn't working correctly. When I turn it on, the red power light, as well as the medium pile buttons flashes. When I first turn it on, the brush rotates for 3 to 5 seconds, then once I start moving the vacuum, it stops and that's when the lights start flashing. I've checked the filters, they are dry and installed correctly. What could be the problem?

Dirt devil vacuum cleaner--trouble vacuuming dirt and pet hair on carpeting --is the problem with the spinning brush which contacts the floor,  not contacting the carpeting??  I thought (when I bought this vacuum) that the aforementioned brush was adjustable to various heights of carpeting.  Sometimes, it seems like nothing is being vacuumed up --unless I have just put a new bag on the vacuum... I took my Dyson DC 25 Animal apart to clean it, and now the red foot pedal won't lock the vacuum into the upright position anymore. The trouble is the spring pin for the pedal popped out and I can't figure out where it is supposed to go.

The hand held dyson does not appear to charge. does the battery come away from the unit as I can't seem to release it? Would there be any point in buying a new battery as I don't know if this is the problem. The red light stays lit all the time it is on charge and when I take it off the machine does not respond at all.

The battery is located at the bottom of the handle. To release it, press and hold down the button on top of the battery case (it has 3 ridges on it). I have a DC 15 Dyson Ball Vacuum. I've removed and cleaned the filter. I can't get the lid to close properly. I don't want to force it and break something. There is some kind of a red spring loaded tab that seems to be in the way. How do I reseal the top of the vacuum?

Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. Could there be something I did not remove or is this typical on these vaccuums?
