Dyson dc07 How do you take the tank apart to clean the bagless filter?

You can take the clear part off pretty easily, but the upper cylcone section is held on by three star screws on the upper -handle end. After taking those off, the handle comes off and it has a long stick that runs down the center of the cylinder. T ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have a Kenmore 116.36932 (upright-bagless vacuum) that the motor protector by-pass valve has opened. I've clean out the area between the agitator brush where the flexible extension hose starts. There was some blockage there. I checked the rest of the system (extenstion hose, back filter area, pipe area to canister and area to side filter. I took the 2 filters out and the by-pass valve is still open. Where else could there be a blockage that I can take apart to clean and put back together

I have had my Bissell 6591-X for 2 years. I hate it! No matter what I do all the fuzz, hair, whatever fills up around the upper filter before it even starts to deposit in the cup. It has done this ever since I bought it. No matter how much I take it apart, clean it, clean filters, empty the cup, nothing does any good. I spill more dirt onto the vacuum and floor than ever gets in the cup. I will never buy another Bissell.

Dyson DC 14 hose has no suction, with or without brush attachments. Hot air shoots out from the base of the canister when I try to use the hose. I cleaned the top filter, but can't figure out how to remove the hepa filter to clean it without destroying the case. It looks like it might take three hands to insert pennies and "flip" the case open as is suggested on a youtube video for a different model. Would this even help, assuming I could get the thing open?

My Hoover Windtunnel, 12-amp, UGG16-900 (or U6616-900 - hard to make out the "G"s from the "6"s) suddenly lost suction this morning. The dirt collection thing is completely clean (I always clean it out after using), the side filter is dirty but not destructively so, and I can see nor feel any obstructions in the hoses. Should I take it in (a real hassle in NYC) or get a new dyson? LOL.

Oreck XL21 just will not work at all any more. Beater is clean - belt is fine. Fresh bag - inflates. Took the thing apart - checked for blockages at intake, bag entry, and the tube. Did you make sure the brush turns freely? Even though it is clean, if it does not turn freely with the belt, it will not beat the carpet and pull debris up into the unit.\015\012\015\012Another (drastic?) thing to try would be to take the unit ... Vacuums
