Mains cable on dc07
\015 My mains cable has been sucked up and has melted the cable through showing wires. Can i replace this cable?\015
Generally no unless you're a certified electrician. It would involve taking apart the bottom section of the Dyson or wherever the cord leads to, and splicing the cable out of the connection end when you open up the Dyson. Easiest solution is really to get it replaced and if you do then ask them to put an extra length cord on it if you are needing it.

I have a 5 yr old Ariens snowblower ( model # 924124). I am having a problem with the deflector cable freezing. I had the deflector cable replaced a yr or 2 ago. I took the cable off and brought it in the house to thaw. When I reinstalled the cable, it worked ine except the shute does not operate in its full range of motion. I have the cable EXACTLY in its original position and routing. The shute only closes about half way. I cannot get the shute to close any lower. Any suggestions?
