Having problems with your Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

Dyson DC07 My DC07 cuts out after 5 mins and I want to replace the thermal cutout. I have cleaned it thoroughly, including the cyclones but it still cuts out. How does the plastic moulding around the motor dismantle? I have started by removing the 4 torx screws but the upper grey housing does not want to detach and I am worried about breaking the plastic. Appreciate any advice.

I have had the problem with the thermal cut out keep kicking in, I have just cleaned the filter under the dust collector. the one on top of the motor. I believe your supposed to replace it, but I like the kill or cure method. so gave it a wash in a bowl of hot soapy water. the amount of dirt that came out was stunning.cured the problem instantly

DC07 DYSON REPLACEMENT HOSE. HOW DO YOU REMOVE IT FROM THE HANDLE. I have a kenmore whispertone 8540 canister vaccum. The electrical wires (3) to power the beater are embedded in the hose, in a spiral fashion. The yokes that hold the hose on both ends (and attach to the beater on one end and the unit on the other) have no screws or pressure latches; i don't want to use brute force as i may damage the attachment device inside the yoke. If someone can tell me the trick to get these yokes off each

Hi. We've got a Dyson DC17 "Animal". It's clogged, and we are unable to separate the purple cyclone cap from the main cyclone body to get to the problem. We've heard of 4 torx screws that take some interesting tactics to access. I've been through this thing with a flashlight, and torx tools for a protracted period, and even after removing the torx screws was unable to ultimately separate the two pieces (main body from purple cap assembly). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx -

I inherited a Simplicity 4380ED serger. It won't cut the fabric. I changed the lower blade for a sharper one. It is lying level with the throat plate. The upper blade is smooth. The fabric edge goes along the upper cutter and rolls over from the top and goes through the serge stitching.. No cut.

I want to open a Hoover S3825 Elite Cyclonic Vacuum to see if I can repair or replace the cord reel assembly. Currently the reel slowly draws the cord back into the canister once it is pulled out. I found the mounting screws under the rear wheels once I removed the hub but I do not know how to remove the rear wheels, everything is plastic. I am trying to change an old fashioned fuse, (house lights), luckily had a spare one. Have put the 15amp fuse wire through the whole thing, and trying to describe if I've got it right is alitle awkward, this is what i've done, cut a piece of 15amp wire a little longer than the old one, then loking at it, taken it straight through and round to left as I'm looking at it, and put the screw in, and obviously done the same for other side.
