Having problems with your Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

No suction in upright position

\015 My Dyson has good suction in the upright position, but when I tilt the handle to vacuum, it looses all suction.\015

Answers :

Check the adapters at the bottom. They're supposed to move cleanly when you lower the handle. It's pretty obvious if there's an air gap when you lower the handle, and you should hear the suction in the air gap.

And...call Dyson...their support is great!

Losing suction in upright position

It's probably your belt. It could be broken or stretched. If broken or stretched, the roller won't spin very well, if at all. Another possibility is that there may be debris blocking suction near the roller. Hope this helps. ... Dyson Vacuums

No suction I have new belts. Everything is clean. No clogs. When I turn it on it smells like rubber , the brush doesnt spin. Everything seems to be free flowing.. Roller brush isnt stuck on the ends. Generally, the problem is that the belt is not running the brushes.  This is caused by one of the following:\015\012\015\012\015\012beater brush is jammed.  This is either an object stuck in the brush or im ... Hoover U6437-900 / U6439-900 Windtunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum

If you are confident there are no blockages, look underneath, where the brush is, and you will see a short length of reinforced clear plastic hose. This often develops a split which results in loss of suction. You can pull the hose off at the motor e ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I picked a little hair out of the roller brushes but other than that they were clean. Thank you for any suggestion you might offer.

I WONDER IF THE PASSAGE TO THE WIND TUNNEL IS BLOCKED, AND OF COURSE THAT IS THE PART I CANNOT GET TO, AS IT NEEDS A SPECIAL TOOL TO UNSCREW THE BACK OF THE VACUUM.
