DC07 works with the hose - but not when upright
\015 DC07 works with the hose with great suction - but with normal use doesn't have much suction and leaves fluff and threads behind.I've followed the websites guide and checked everything but with no success. My biggest gripe is that I have to pay \302\24363 to remedy my loss of suction when dyson promise I will never loose it!\015
Check the actual brush bar is moving. If it is then there's definately a clog and it could well be behind the beater bar. If you can remove the sole plate (which is the grid in front of the beater bar) then undo it and check dirt behind the beater bar, belt and main dust channel. Also check the main inspection air ways and if the beater bar is clogged with hair, clean it off.

It has been pulled apart by my husband to ensure nothing is blocking the hoses etc and when running the suction seems to be there. I tried the hose w/attachment and again it worked very well in picking up the cat hair, but where does the hair and the dirt go, I am afraid it is spitting it back out somewhere since I can not see anything in the c
