I took my Dyson DC 25 Animal apart to clean it, and now the red foot pedal won't lock the vacuum into the upright position anymore. The trouble is the spring pin for the pedal popped out and I can't figure out where it is supposed to go.

That spring thing goes where the pedal screws into the side. When 'facing' the dyson in the front, it's on the left side. The spring's circle part and short stem section goes into a divot area on the pedal. The other end is tensioned (braced) a ... Dyson DC25 All Floors Bagless Upright Vacuum

Hi, pressing the big red foot button on the dc25 lowers the cleaner to the working position, but it wont stand up again. would appreciate some help. thanks. TC

Sounds like the ball cradle is worn out, the springs are too stretched to pull the handle release pedal back into place. you can do one of two things, replace the cradle assy, or just lift the red pedal up when you raise the handle ... Dyson DC25 All Floors Bagless Upright Vacuum

The kick stand that lowers the vacuum when in use got in a position where the red foot pedal would not come back up to bring the wheels down and the vacuum rest in the upright position. We took it apart and corrected the position, but the side with the small circular spring came out and we are not sure how to attach it back, exactly where it hooks onto. Can you help show us where it goes?

I am replacing a foot pedal on an upright Sharp vacuum cleaner-EC-TU2607. I have the broken foot pedal removed from vacuum cleaner proper but it is the removal of the broken pedal from its spring load that has me puzzled. I applied some pulling effort on the pin that holds the spring in place but there doesn't seem to be any give. Is that the correct approach or is there something else that one should be doing first to release some of the resistance by the pin or spring? Thanks!

I have a Bissell Powersteamer Pro Deluxe, Model 8804 shampooer. I got this bright idea to take the brush off as it was full of hair and debree. Upon putting it back on it appears I'm not getting the brush on properly. Does the belt go around the end with the grooves? Also do the grooves go on the right or left side? From my view point I am looking at the machine with it lying on it's back and I am sitting on the floor looking at the bottom of machine. Sure hope I haven't confused you too m

My Singer Izek sewing machine starts and stops and wont sew continuously. When I push down the pedal it sews about 2 inches then stops and light starts flashing, I have to let off of the pedal and push it again, over and over. It did this once before for awhile and then just started sewing right for awhile and now its started it again. I've checked everything.

Pfaff Creative 1459. When trying to wind a bobbin, I do what I've always done, turn the small round "wheel" on the right, slide the bobbing into the little knob that keeps it in place and gently press the foot thing on the floor that should start the bobbing to winding. The bobbin does not turn at all causing a loud whirring sound and the needle goes up and down as if it were making stitches.
