Dyson animal won't start. Never had any problem with this vacuum. No apparent problem. No electrical problem with house or outlet. If there are some common things I could check/fix, things that might go wrong, I would like to check them out and get this machine going again.

Hi there, if the machine was running and cut out in use, this could be due to the motor overheating. The cause of this would be a blockage or a dirty filter. These checks can be found in the Support section on our website at www.dyson.com. ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have an animal dyson. The front nose dives into the carpet when moving the dyson in the forward motion, fine when pulling back. A huge amount of effort is required to move it forward. Took it to a technician and he said he could find nothing wrong. He had only short nap carpet for test. Works fine on short nap, if the carpet nap has any lenght to it like shag, the dyson severly nose dives. It's like the nose is sucked into the carpet. I have a dyson dc07 with a malfuncitoning clutch diagnosed here on fixya. I've replaced the clutch and the grinding noise when the clutch is engaged for carpet and non rotating brush problem presists. This is after replacement of the clutch with a new part. Install of the new part went well and there are no otehr apparent problems with the unit. Ideas? The unit is only a couple years old and not used that much on carpet. For an expensive vacuum I'm not that impressed with it at this point.

Currently my dyson does not work when in the upright position. When I pull the handle back, it will run, but the suction is not very good at all. I tried washing the filter, but that didn't work. Sometimes it works for awhile, but then the problem occurs after the machine has been used for awhile. What do you think the problem is?
