Fitting a new clutch.

\015 After my dyson swallowed a long telephone cable, instead of cutting it free I cut the belt. Consequently, I couldn't purchase another belt without a new clutch.\015\012\015\012Is it possible for me to replace this myself? I would be grateful to receive instructions on how to do this.\015

Fit new belt to clutch on dyson DC04 - Vacuums

Bad news regarding all Dyson's. You can't replace just the belt your self. You have to purchase a new belt assembly which includes the gears. And it wont be cheap. I would call it a design flaw but i am sure that dyson calls it a profit scheme. ... Vacuums

I have a dyson dc07 with a malfuncitoning clutch diagnosed here on fixya. I've replaced the clutch and the grinding noise when the clutch is engaged for carpet and non rotating brush problem presists. This is after replacement of the clutch with a new part. Install of the new part went well and there are no otehr apparent problems with the unit. Ideas? The unit is only a couple years old and not used that much on carpet. For an expensive vacuum I'm not that impressed with it at this point.

Greetings from GoVacuum,\015\012\015\012If you have replaced the clutch already, then this can really only be one other problem, and that is the roller brush. If the roller brush's bearing have locked up, and the brush is no longer spinn ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have a model 1315 sears sewing machine and have a new walking foot that doesn't seem to fit or allow me to stitch.......is there a fix? The walking foot is a kenmore brand and we thought it would fit all kenmores?

I am sure that you realize that it has to be for a low shank machine and that you have to take off the presser foot and use the screw to clamp the walking foot on, and the fingers must be on the take up lever screw. Be sure to check the shank size. ... Vacuums

I have a Flotec shallow well FP4122-08. A burglar stood on the pump this summer to gain access to my goats building (window). There's a small black tube that came off at both ends. When I put the tube back on, it shoots right back off as soon as the pump is plugged in. I don't know the name of the part (tube) to order a new one, and I don't know if it just plugs onto the fittings of both ends, or goes into the pump at the end with the round fitting on it.

I have Optima, 12amp Eureka vacuum, Model 431, AXZ type and the extension hose for cleaning corners and edges --the plastic part that the attachments fit into has a piece broken off and tools don;t fit anymore. It looks like the hose attachment can be replaced--can it be and if so--where can I get a new hose attachment. It seems it is cheaply made of plastic and really shouldn't have broken a piece off.
