Having problems with your Dyson DC15 All Floors - The Ball Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

I have a Dyson 15 "the ball". The beater bar will only rotate if the vacuum is engaged and the handle at a high angle. The bar stops when I drop the handle to a lower position. The condition is repeatable. Can you provide part and repair instructions?

If air is leaking in somewhere, you will not have any suction.\015\012\015\012\015\012Also there are some possibilities that has to be checked to confirm the fault. The problem is minor but the possibilities are too much for this particular problem:---\015\012either your rear lower trap for attachments is not connected properly or blocked, your clear bin is not connected properly, your quick release bin assmebly is not connected properly, your hose is not connected properly or is blocked, your side pre-motor filter is not inserted or is not connected properly, or the clear hose on the lower bottom of the machine is not connected properly or pierced.
To fix any of these problems make sure all are properly connected and fit well onto the machine, or clean any blocks. Any of these reasons will cause a weak seal and loss of suction. If the motor is working it is most likely one of these problems. If the lower hose is pierced, you can either reconnect the hose over the piercing or order a new lower hose from Dyson.
\015\012Most likely it is an imporper seal on your rear lower trap, your attachment hose, your side trap, your pre-motor filter assembly, your easy empty dust bin assemply, your clear plastic dust bin, or your rear lower hose on the bottom of the machine. All of these are fixed by checking and making sure each piece is fit into the sopt correctly and snug. Try these and see if this helps.
If you can see a blockage somewhere inside the center of the dust bin assembly (where the holes and fins are with the rubber seal to the clear dust bin) then here is a little trick to clean that out... First GENTLY pull on each of the four fins, one at a time until you hear each one click (DO NOT SNAP THEM OFF). This is easiet done by pulling on each one twice, 1, 2, 3, 4, then 1, 2, 3, 4. By the time you get to the fourth the second time, the whole fin assembly should pull off with the rubber seal. With this off, twist the plastic piece with the holes and this will turn off. now you can get all you need to clean out inside of the main dust department!

Placing the handle of my Dyson DC07 into its upright and locked position causes the beater bar to stop turning. It will not start turning until the handle is first lowered to the working position and the Carpet/Bare knob is moved to the Bare Floor position and then back to the Carpet position. Then the beater bar turns until the handle is placed into the upright position. What might be the problem?

Hi. We have a Riccar N2100 vacuum cleaner, which has served us well for many, many years. I'd like to attempt a repair on this unit, and looking for advice and/or a parts diagram to proceed. I purchased a Eureka C4910 last year and have a question that I am hoping you can answer. There are two motor actions with this vacuum, 1) the vacuum suction, and 2) the beater bar. The action of the beater bar is that motor is supposed to automatically shut off when the handle is in the complete vertical position assuming the vacuum is stationary, but then turn on when the handle is tilted toward the floor, assuming the vacuum is moving back and forth.
