This unit has a problem with the magnetic switch that ensures the filter is in place. This can be fixed if the switch is bypassed.

The hand held dyson does not appear to charge. does the battery come away from the unit as I can't seem to release it? Would there be any point in buying a new battery as I don't know if this is the problem.
