The problem is that the cleaner is heavy to use and does not pull itself forward as it should. It has been back to the supplier 3 times but they have not fixed the problem. The LED's on the front flicker and I think it may be a problem with the sensor. If you have any info. on how the sensor works and where it is located it would be useful as well as any other suggestions to fix the problem please.

My scooba seems to work fine but no longer makes the beeping noise. Several weeks ago the beep was sounding very strange almost like a battery was dying. Now it's not making any noise at all. Is this the beginning of more problems or can the machine function just fine without the beeps? If not then how can I fix it?

Your speaker went out. It could be totally isolated. You're not going to be able to determine what's wrong with your Scooba if something does happen, though, because without those beep codes, there's no way for the robot to communicate with you. ... iRobot 5900 Scooba Robotic Wet/Dry Vacuum

My filter queen majestic quit working. I opened up the unit to see what was wrong and I did not immediately notice anything wrong. Upon furter examination I noticed one of the traces on the printed circuit card was burnt. I used a soldering iron to "bridge the trace and it appeared to fix the problem for a while. Now it has stopped working again, and when I jumper the trace to run the motor it seems to work. Should I just replace the card? Or is there a more serious problem with too much current

I recommend replacing the card. Soldering involves the risk of further damaging the card, so it would be useless anyway. Why waste valuable time?\015\012There is a possibility of the motor overheating, generally due to a blockage in the airfl ... Filter Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum

Recently purchase SC-N500 vacuum cleaner. Worked well only the first 2 times I used it to clean up plaster dust from floor after sanding. Since then it has not worked at all well wiht very poor suction. Fluff gets stuck in the hose and has to be manually removed. Suction power is very poor. I have washed the filter to remove the dust with no difference. Who do I contact in Brisbane to service or assess the problem further.

We have a dyson dc 07 animal the machine was working fine then switched off after returning to the machine minutes later it wouldnt switch on, i removed on off switch cover and used a short piece of wire across the brown wires flicked the wall switch and it worked, aha i thought faulty switch aquired a new one to no avail and now even the short piece of wire trick doesnt work, has the motor died do you think, it wasnt over heating or making strange noises prior to refusing to work

It could be the motor. I'm having to replace the brushes on my DC 05. It appears that you can only get brushes for the YDK motors in the DYSON, not the Panasonic motor. Which might be saying something about the YDK motors. What happens is that the ca ... Dyson DC05 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

Terrible noise My dyson was working great then started making this horrible noise. I cleaned the bar but noise is still there. I discovered the beater bar went around three passes then froze and started horrible noise again. my husband got the bar turning but after 2 swipes vacuuming it did it again. Can it be fixed or is it time to retire it and buy a new one. Wendy Kiser

That noise is the clutch. A very expensive part and very hard to replace. When a problem with the clutch happens it's generally not worth the time and money to replace.I suggest getting a different type of vacuum, maybe a Miele or Sebo. W ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have a dyson dc07 with a malfuncitoning clutch diagnosed here on fixya. I've replaced the clutch and the grinding noise when the clutch is engaged for carpet and non rotating brush problem presists. This is after replacement of the clutch with a new part. Install of the new part went well and there are no otehr apparent problems with the unit. Ideas? The unit is only a couple years old and not used that much on carpet. For an expensive vacuum I'm not that impressed with it at this point.

Greetings from GoVacuum,\015\012\015\012If you have replaced the clutch already, then this can really only be one other problem, and that is the roller brush. If the roller brush's bearing have locked up, and the brush is no longer spinn ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

On/off switch we have two of these vacuums at work, and both of there on/off switches dont work too well. its hard to explain, but when u normally turn it on or off theres a little resistance in the switch and you hear a click, with both of ours the switch moves freely back and forth from on to off, no resisntace, no click, and the machine doesnt stay on, or off for that matter. the switch just moves back and forth.

My Hoover vacuum is not vacuuming the carpets or floors. When I release the tube to use the smaller end the suction works perfect. My Bissell ProHeat 2x is pouring water out of the bottom anytime it's turned on. I had it in the shop for no water, took it back again for the same problem, took it back again because it had no suction, finally took it apart and found the problem with the suction and fixed it myself. Worked fine for a day and now it is constantly leaking water, if it's turned on, and is useless for anything except for making a mess.

No Suction My two year old Kenmore Progressive stopped working in January. The guy at the Sears service center convinced me that buying a new one would be cheaper than getting it fixed. So I bought the exact same model and now this one has given out in the exact same way! I'm so confused. When I press on, it lights up and makes the whirring noise. 110-220V Dear Sir, I purchased a kirby sentria vacuum cleaner from ebau two weeks ago. I currently resid in the UAE with 220V power. My maid has plugged the vacuum to work with it unaware of the voltage difference, a terrble noise as mentioned came from the cleaner as well as a smell. She unlugged it and stopped t from operating. Can you please let me know how can i assess the damage? If this model has a switch from 110 to 220V IS there a solution with transfromer or motor to make it work? Thank
