DC17 Animal - loud noise in roller bar

\015 I have a DC 17 Animal vacuum - a small bag was caught in the roller bar and now it is making a loud knocking noise when the roller bar is engaged. The noise does not happen when the vacuum is set to floors. \015\012\015\012I've read / heard there is a clutch that can be reset on the roller bar. Is this something that I can fix? Or does this have to be sent into a shop to be fixed?\015
