Having problems with your Dyson DC17 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

My Dyson DC17 has lost suction on the wand and is not picking up dirt as it should. I have taken the small part at bottom of the machine off to see if there is a blockage--none that I can see. The flexible tube on wand is very tight and won't extend very much. Dyson sent me a new cyclonic part in April but the machine still doesn't seem to be working properly. My serial number is 260-us-d11545. Is there somewhere I can take my Dyson to get it fixed. I'm very frustrated with it. Thank you.

My Dyson animal seems to have an electrical issue that I am unable to pinpoint. Neither the wand nor the floor vac have any suction AT ALL. In fact the vac makes absolutely no sound and you wouldn't even know that it had power to it unless the rollers are turned on, the rollers work just fine. I had this problem start about a month ago and then it just started working again after messing with it for a while, now it has happened again and I am getting a little agitated! My dyson 25 animal has lost suction from the floor portion of the machine. All the hot hair is coming off the front bottom part, by the ball. Its as if the connection of air has been disconnected. The attachment works fine, though.

Now no power at all. is there a way that I can check if its the power in the handle section as thats the only way you can turn this machine on? Thanks in advance

I bought a used vacuum seal machine (hobart model ht-120) it does excellent vacuum but it doesnt seal correctly all the time. it seems like there is something wrong with the valve that activates the bar that goes up and makes pressure and heats the bag for complete sealing. The heating is perfect but what is not working is what make the bar go up and down.

I bought an old Juki Baby Lock 418 at a garage sale. It will sew for 3 or 4 inches and then seems to be off timing and locks up. I have no instruction manual. Is there a manual available for this old machine? I would prefer a downloadable manual because I already have money invested in the machine which doesn't seem to work. It was suppose to have been gone over at a repair shop before I purchased it and was told that it worked. .

This has only happend in the last 2 weeks. I have a DYSON ROOT cycle carpet cleaner. It is cleaned and looked after and is in perfect working order. However, I have been using this machine, with inserted ear plugs, since the day I bought it. Mystery part Bissell 1699-P. I removed the top cover and a part came tumbling out (from the rear of the machine - towards the handle area). I have no idea were this part belongs. I have a schematic of the cleaner but I can not locate the part on it. I tried to copy and paste a picture of the part but that isn't working so I will attempt to discribe the part: There is nothing stampted on the part that I can see. I have a Dyson all-floor model (not the ball). I recently replaced my carpet to a Frieze. Since replacing the carpet, the Dyson is extremely hard to push. It almost forms a "seal" with the carpet. Seems to work fine on Berber carpet and laminate floor. My husband has checked to make sure the brushes are working, hoses are not clogged and belts are OK. I've had it for about a year. It is virutally impossible to push on the new carpet. Any ideas?
