I have an electrolux central vacuum in my house. My central vac hose has something stuck in it, I think, maybe a sock. I tried to put a long dryer wand down it but the hose is just too long. Does this need a repair man or new hose?? Any idea of a way to blow it out? Thanks.

HI, I have a Kenmore 25813 and it seems like there is an intermittent short. When I have the extension wand on and the power floor attachment on, when it rotate the wand the light cuts out and so does the power floor attachment, when I twist it back it comes on again. I don't have this problem if I remove the wand and just use the crevice tool with the hose. Any idea where the short might be and can I fix it myself? Thanks. Gary

The extension wand is stuck. It will go up to a certain point and stop. The gray flexible hose that it is housed in is not damaged and there is nothing on the steel metal rod that slips into the hose that I can see. The gray button on the handle still depresses as well and everything is still "Clicking" as far as the button. thank you

Does the hose come off the dyson? I accidently sucked up a rag now it is stuck in the hose

Hi. i can help you. the best way to remove the rag is to straighten out a wire coat hanger and put a small bend at the end to act as a little hook. shove it into the hose, snag the rag and pull it out.\015\012\015\012\015\012 ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have an Air Track plus vacuum cleaner and something has got stuck between the flexible part of the hose and the solid black section at the end. I tried to put a coin down to clear it but that has got stuck too. It looks like the rigid section should come apart (a small notch each side) but I can't figure how to do this.

My Fantom Thunder upright has a blockage that sounds like it is directly above the dirt bin in the "head". I cannot access it from inside the bin chamber by going up the nozzle with a claw parts retriever. (This is the older model where the cyclone nozzle doesn't come off.) The wand, hose, rear inspection port, and front brush intake are all clear. How do I get the top of the vac off above the dirt bin? I don't see any screws or slots.

I replaced the dust bag, engine pre-filter and Hepa filter but no change. When i remove the hose, the Indicator is normal, but when i attach the hose, wand, head, the indicator is full.
