Dyson absolute dirt bypasses tank and goes to filter

\015 I have changed some of the seals, but I still get a lot of dog hair in the filter, it seems to bypass the bagless tank, and goes directly into the filter. I have cleaned the filter several times, and it seems that the cyclone action is different and the dirt goes directly to filter not in tank.\015

Our Bissell Cleanview II 3576M does a great job except that the filter cup below the dirt cup gets full very fast and the dirt cup barely has anything in it. To clean the whole house, I have to empty the dirt cup and clean the filter several times. It didn't use to work this way. It seems like something is missing, a gasket or seal maybe? I don't think dirt, hair and debris should be going straight to the lower cup and bypassing the upper. I looked at the user guide but can't see why it's happen

Replacing filter Got a Filter Queen Majestic vacuum from my inlaws when they moved overseas. I am in middle of vacuuming, got a weird noise, so opted to check and clean the filter for first time. UGH. The lower 'pot' that's the bottom part of the thing was full of gunk, but the filter pristine clean against the cone that's attached to the upper part of the unit. In other words, I am shocked to see that the dirt goes not INTO the filter, but outside of it into the bottom portion (that I call the

Can't find info for hoover steam vac spin scrub model # F5905900 on Hoover website, doesn't show that model number at all...looking for mesh (kind of cone/cylinder shape) that goes in dirty water tank (I think) and also the tool (wand) that slides into front to clean it out. It doesn't pull all the water up very well and the filter has been missing for some time. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. As far as the wand tool goes, I have taken the cover off at this point and

The cleanout tool is part # 43514001. The filter is # 90001398. Be sure to leave a 1/2 inch gap between the top of the filter and the bottom of the lid. If you need a manual, try model F5914-900 0r F5912-900 on Hoover.com ... Hoover SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub Upright Vacuum

It leaves dirt and fluff in the rollers not in the filter. So is not cleaning properly. There is never anf fluff at all in the filter. Also the lid does not close properly and we constantly get the 'check tank' light coming on. It leaves streaky marks across the floor and seems to leave the floor too wet (hence the streaks). Look forward to hearing from you.

No suction I have the central vac type. It has no suction at the can. I pulled the hose going to the walls and tested there...and nothing. I removed the dirt can and checked the motor ...it is spinning but does not feel like any suction. I checked the exhaust and it is pushing strong air out. I also cleaned the filter and still nothing. Is there a relay or something that would cause only exhaust air. I emptied the can of dirt and put it back together and have absolutely no air.....hear the motor

My dyson d14 animal keeps cutting in and out. When it's on, the hole above where the filter is, keeps making a loud suction noise and it won't clean up hair and dirt.

Vacuum Cleaners require AIr-Flow. Your machine is not getting any air-flow. The noise you hear is a valve opening up to prevent your machine from overheating and burning out the motor. You probably have an obstruction somewhere in the machine. ... Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have a Dyson DC07 and it has lost suction. I have checked the belt, cleaned the circular filter and emptied the dirt chamber. The hose still has plenty of suction but I can't use the hose the vacuum the entire house.

NO POWER My Dyson DCO4 Absolute (purple&lime) won't' switch on. I've checked the plug fuse, wall socket and also filters and hoses on machine all seem fine so think the problem is with the on/off button (maybe loose wire or something) but how do i get to it, is there a special way to remove the green on/off button in order to check the connection? Thankyou in advance for the help i am sure you will be able to provide.

The problem is almost certainly a fatigue break in the flex. These usually happen where the flex enters the handle through the rubber sleeve near the on off switch. You will need to cut about four inches off the wire and reconnect it to the switch. ... Vacuums

My Dyson just stopped sucking up dirt. I have checked all the obvious things like clogs and filters. I noticed when I turn it on, there is a valve on the top of the cannister that opens and you can feel suction from the vent hole. Is this valve malfunctioning, or is it working correctly because something else is malfunctioning?

My Hoover Windtunnel, 12-amp, UGG16-900 (or U6616-900 - hard to make out the "G"s from the "6"s) suddenly lost suction this morning. The dirt collection thing is completely clean (I always clean it out after using), the side filter is dirty but not destructively so, and I can see nor feel any obstructions in the hoses. Should I take it in (a real hassle in NYC) or get a new dyson? LOL.

Dyson dc07 How do you take the tank apart to clean the bagless filter?
