Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. Could there be something I did not remove or is this typical on these vaccuums?

There is some thing broken it is two plastic cogs they help the front go down and stay up you will have to get a star screw driver and there should be two screws on top and two at the b ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

Placing the handle of my Dyson DC07 into its upright and locked position causes the beater bar to stop turning. It will not start turning until the handle is first lowered to the working position and the Carpet/Bare knob is moved to the Bare Floor position and then back to the Carpet position. Then the beater bar turns until the handle is placed into the upright position. What might be the problem?

I am currently unsure, it my Dyson DC16 battery is charging as it should. I read all the posts about Powersupply voltage of 28V and defective PCBs. I now need to know from someone who's DC16 is working properly what voltage the battery should have when it is charged. I currently only measure 24.2V in mine. Supposing there are 6 batteries in there with nominal 3.6 voltage each, which would add up to 21.6, I supposed one could charge with up to 25.2V (4.2*6) and once reach lower the voltage ke

Hoover U6637-960 the self propel is not not working. When lowering the handle it acts like it would like to work but the roller will not turn. appears to be something to do with the self propel part of the handle . took the screws aout but can not get it apart. Currently my dyson does not work when in the upright position. When I pull the handle back, it will run, but the suction is not very good at all. I tried washing the filter, but that didn't work. Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit. The problem started when the little purple ridged curved part on front of vacuum cleaner right below handle came loose and a spring fell out from somewhere--don't know where. I pushed on the purple ridge part and it snapped back on. Now, can't get it loose again, don't know where the spring goes, and handle still comes loose from vacuum.

I'm not positive whether or not this is the wand handle because there are several versions of the DC14. However the device the locks and unlocks the wand in place is pretty similar between all the versions. The first picture is the wand re ... Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have an animal dyson. The front nose dives into the carpet when moving the dyson in the forward motion, fine when pulling back. A huge amount of effort is required to move it forward. Took it to a technician and he said he could find nothing wrong. He had only short nap carpet for test. Works fine on short nap, if the carpet nap has any lenght to it like shag, the dyson severly nose dives. It's like the nose is sucked into the carpet.
