Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

I'm sorry to hear your carbon fibre floor tool isn't running. You may want to follow the steps shown in the video below, just to make sure there are no obstructions which could be jamming the brush bar. Although the floor tool in the video will differ slightly to the one supplied with your machine, the procedure for clearing the brush bar is the same.

If you find this doesn't resolve the issue and would like some further assistance, please give our Helpline a call on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1-866-693-9766 (US) to speak directly with one of our experts. They will be able to run you through some quick troubleshooting checks to help determine the cause of the issue.

Best wishes,

My Discovery 4210 Roomba will run normally for about 20 minutes on a smooth, wooden floor. It then begins the following sequence: run forward a few inches, turn in a tight counter-clockwise circle a few revolutions, stop, power off a few seconds, power up, repeat cycle from forward run. The sequence can be repeated seemingly endlessly if I don't turn off the power manually. I've replaced the motor, and led revolution sensor system on the left drive wheel. I've blown the dust out of everywhere. A

The bottom bar that encases the brush is flush to the floor when using the vacuum. This causes the suction to "stick" the vacuum to the floor (lamenate) and also as there is no ground clearance debris is just pushed around.
