Having problems with your Dyson DCO7 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum ?

Answers :

It doesn't exactly float like most cleaner heads do. There is a hose under the machine that attaches to the brush housing. That hose acts like a spring to hold the soleplate flush to the carpet, and it gets teased into place. You can either replace that hose, or sometimes just giving it about a half turn will temporarily correct the problem.

The power head of my DC 21 keeps cutting off as soon as I start moving the hose around. The only way to get it going again is to step on the main switch on the canister, then the whole cycle of off and on starts again. I have replaced the entire power head and tested the continuity of all the wires in the hose and they are good. The repair shop says the PCB is bad but can not get one. What can I do ?

Not much. my only suggestion is to dig through the internet and try and find that pcb it may take awhile but it would be worth a shot. if you dont think you can make the repair take it to repair shop with new pcb and let them do it. ... Dyson Genuine DC-21 "Stowaway" Spare HEPA Filter, Dyson

My Dyson DC07 vacuum started to run slower after being on for a little while and then would run normally again. I have switched on today and it has just stopped. When I push the start button, on occasions it almost starts and then doesn't. I am wondering if there is a problem with the switch and if so how can it be fixed? Thankyou.

The motor running slower was the motor starting to burn out. The "almost start" is the brushes making intermittent contact with the armature in the motor. \015\012\015\012Your machine needs a new motor Pam. ... Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

The motor in the power head ran at a higher pitch for a for 8 to 10 seconds then stopped. If I push the reset button the powerhead may or may not start or it may start and run for a few seconds. The brush is not caught.
