I have a DC 15 Dyson Ball Vacuum. I've removed and cleaned the filter. I can't get the lid to close properly. I don't want to force it and break something. There is some kind of a red spring loaded tab that seems to be in the way. How do I reseal the top of the vacuum?

The red tab doesn't let the lid close if the filter is not fitted correctly or the wrong filter is fitted. Many after-market filters cause this problem. \015\012\015\012Have you recently fitted a new after-market filter? ... Dyson DC14 All floors Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

Dyson dc24 - just tried to use after being in storage, making loud noise and seems to be blowing out rather than in. Maybe a part missing? The hole at the top of the bin attachment is sucking air in.....should something be there to stop this?

The wand attachment at the top is supposed to only suck in when it\\'s in the upright position, otherwise the suction should be used when the vacuum in rolled on the carpet/wood/surface.If it\\'s still under warranty, contact Dyson directly. ... Vacuums

I have an animal dyson. The front nose dives into the carpet when moving the dyson in the forward motion, fine when pulling back. A huge amount of effort is required to move it forward. Took it to a technician and he said he could find nothing wrong. He had only short nap carpet for test. Works fine on short nap, if the carpet nap has any lenght to it like shag, the dyson severly nose dives. It's like the nose is sucked into the carpet. I have a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner makes a helluva racket whilst in use. Called up Dyson and they told me to flip the floor/carpet knob 10 times back and forth. That did the trick for a short while and it started again. Continue attempts useing that technique does not work. I think in spite of the big bragging I see on the TV this guy braying about how superior his product is it is a piece of junk. I should have bought a Eureka or something, at least it would have been less expensive. I

I am currently unsure, it my Dyson DC16 battery is charging as it should. I read all the posts about Powersupply voltage of 28V and defective PCBs. I now need to know from someone who's DC16 is working properly what voltage the battery should have when it is charged. I currently only measure 24.2V in mine. Supposing there are 6 batteries in there with nominal 3.6 voltage each, which would add up to 21.6, I supposed one could charge with up to 25.2V (4.2*6) and once reach lower the voltage ke

No suction I have the central vac type. It has no suction at the can. I pulled the hose going to the walls and tested there...and nothing. Is there a relay or something that would cause only exhaust air. I emptied the can of dirt and put it back together and have absolutely no air.....hear the motor
