Having problems with your Easy Flo EF1525 Central System Vacuum ?

I am buying a central vac system, can you tell me the better of the easy flo or nutone brand. I want the one with the least problems. It appears to me that the easy flo has fewer problems, thank you

Answers :

Between the two brands... stay away from the nutone. If you can get it, the Beam, Eureka, or even the Electrolux and Kenmore(sears) would still be better. The warranty would be better on the Beam and Eureka (7 or 10 and one model is even 15 years)

A 'burn' hole has appeared in the Microwave Outlet Cover causing arcing (or similar sparking and blue flashing!). Would replacing this cover with a new one solve the problem or does it suggest something that would quickly reoccur? Would it be an economical repair or should we ditch the machine for a replacement? Thanks in advance etc it is appreciated.

Can the two inlet pipes be connected to one line? The central vacuum I have is probably from 1993/4. It has one exhaust pipe and two inlet pipes. It was initially under my stairs. I would like to move it and have in fact moved it to the garage but am now fitting the pipes. I would like to join the two pipes that were previously going to the two inlets into one pipe. Can I do it? Also would I then join the wires? Would I put a plate on the other inlet? THANKS. It is a SMART president's choice vac

There is no real reason why not...As long as you have enough "****" then that should be fine, you will need to "Y" join and NOT a "****" joint. ... Vacuums

Suction problem I have a Hoover Widepath Fold Away, 12 amp motor vacuum cleaner and the problem I am having is every time I vacuum, the vacuum gets clogged up with carpet. My filter queen majestic quit working. I opened up the unit to see what was wrong and I did not immediately notice anything wrong. Upon furter examination I noticed one of the traces on the printed circuit card was burnt. I used a soldering iron to "bridge the trace and it appeared to fix the problem for a while. Now it has stopped working again, and when I jumper the trace to run the motor it seems to work. Should I just replace the card? Or is there a more serious problem with too much current

I recommend replacing the card. Soldering involves the risk of further damaging the card, so it would be useless anyway. Why waste valuable time?\015\012There is a possibility of the motor overheating, generally due to a blockage in the airfl ... Filter Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum

How do I replace the hemp filter? Is there more than one? of course I've misplaced owners manuel, I've had it since July 2010, live where there are 3 indoor cats, I'm allergic to cat dander, for the first few months no problems with vacuum stirring up dander, however now, when vacuuming, my lungs start to close up. This is not an electrolux problem, but I am hoping one of the experts can answer the question. I have a Sears air compressor that suddenly stopped working. After looking at how the motor case is put together, it appeared that it would essentially have to be destroyed to get it apart and into the motor. I received a new compressor for my birthday so I decided to tear into the old one to do some diagnosis. After getting into the case where I could see the motor/pump, I have discovered the prob

This is intersesting. I think the fuse is simply a heat sensor. If you by pass this the only problem you may run into is if the motor over heats it my eventually burn out. I recently took out a stand mixer that is probably over 50 years old. It belonged to my mother and I wanted to use it. It probably hasn't been used in at least 10 years. With some effort, I removed one of the beaters but cannot remove the other one nor can I even budge it. I have used WD-40 but it's not helping. It's a Westinghouse product. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you used WD40, you should have the unit inverted so the WD40 runs down into the beater socket.Use a small piece of wood and place it against the bottom of the beater and tap lightly with a hammer while pressing the beater release button/lever, jus ... Vacuums

VACUUM REPAIR I have a Hoover Savvy upright, windtunnel, bag/bagless vacuum (model U8150-900). Hi. I purchased a Simplicity Freedom about 2 years ago. I have had it in for various repairs several times. One persistant problem that the repairman cannot seem to fix is the dirt does not fall down into the bag - it just stays up around the suction hole. I only use simplicity bags.
