Easy Flo Central vacuum will still work at about

\015 Easy Flo Central vacuum will still works at about 75% capacity, but does not have the power it used to even after cleaning out the debris and checking everything I can get to or see for any clogs. Not sure how to test if hose has crack or if system needs checking? Is there a test I can do at home to see if there is a clog in the pipes?luvmygoldie\015

Answers :

If your getting and performance out of the system there is definatly not a clog. there is not such thing as a partial clog in a vacuum system because anything stuck in the pipe will become a full blown clog. if your hose is 10 plus years old i would say its time to replace. an old worn out hose will cause a drastic decrease in airflow. some of the bagless tanks have hidden pre motor filters but they don't often cause any problems.
Yes you can easily test for a clog, and a crack for that matter.
\015\012to test for a clog push a dry garden hose through the entire system until it comes out at the other end.
\015\012to test for a crack, Disconnect the pipe that comes from the house to the central vac unit. Turn on the unit and put your hand over the opening directly at the central vac unit.(Using the utility inlet at the unit will not accomplish the same thing.)
  • \015\012Step 2\015\012If your suction is good, then reconnect the tubing and turn on the switch at the unit. If there is no switch, plug your central vacuum hose into one of your inlets to start the system. Then have someone completely seal the hose with their hand. While the unit is running go to the exhaust. With everything closed you should feel almost nothing coming from the exhaust. If you feel very little exhaust, then you do not have a leak

I have an Easy-Flo central vac unit. The handle on the electric hose has a switch on the handle. With the switch on ''O'' in the center, it's off. On the left, is the ''I'' position. The vacuum runs but the power brush doesn't. On the right is the ''II'' position. The switch won't flip that way. It feels stuck. It feels as if there is something underneath of it that won't let it push that direction. I have the switch out of the handle, but I can't seem to get the actual black casing around the

Low suction I have a Hoover central vacuum system. I've reset the fuse box, checked the fuses, all of the lines are clear and there are no holes for escaped air to travel out. The filter has been cleaned as well. The vac works well with high suction when hooked directly to the unit, however when using any of the indoor connections there is extremely low suction. The machine still turns on so I do not believe it is an electronic issue. I have troubleshooted the issue as best I could and would

I have a Craftsman wet dry vac with blower capability (22 L). While I was using it to **** up water, the water came out of the blower hose. Now I can't get it to work as a vacuum.
