Having problems with your Easy Flo EF2300 Central System Vacuum ?

Myu easy flow central vacuum wi not shut off - Easy Flo EF2300 Central System Vacuum

Answers :

This could be because of 2 things....

first, the on/off switch may have been accidentally hit and is forcing the machine to stay on at all times.

Second, the relay in the unit may be defective and stuck in the on position. Less than 5 years should be under warranty. The easy way to tell if it is this problem tho is to unplug one of the low voltage wires from the side of the unit. These are usually located near the power cord going into the machine. If the machine stays running it is the Relay. However if the machine shuts off, the wiring in the vac system may be crossed out somewhere causing the machine to stay on.

I am buying a central vac system, can you tell me the better of the easy flo or nutone brand. I want the one with the least problems. It appears to me that the easy flo has fewer problems, thank you

Between the two brands... stay away from the nutone. If you can get it, the Beam, Eureka, or even the Electrolux and Kenmore(sears) would still be better. The warranty would be better on the Beam and Eureka (7 or 10 and one model is even 15 years) ... Easy Flo EF1525 Central System Vacuum

I was using my easy flow central vacuum, and shut it off. When I went to start it up again 5 min later, it would not turn on. I emptied out the filter, and reset the switch. When the reset button was pushed, it started up the vacuum, but the vacuum was not turned on in the house. It can only be turned on from in the garage and not on the actual hose. What is going on?

I have an Easy-Flo central vac unit. The handle on the electric hose has a switch on the handle. With the switch on ''O'' in the center, it's off. On the left, is the ''I'' position. The vacuum runs but the power brush doesn't. On the right is the ''II'' position. The switch won't flip that way. It feels stuck. It feels as if there is something underneath of it that won't let it push that direction. I have the switch out of the handle, but I can't seem to get the actual black casing around the
