Filtex central vacuum

\015 Not much suction--think i need an new motor\015

Answers :

Check suction at main unit. If it is not good and the unit is empty you might need a new motor. If good there and one of the inlets is open, connect and disconnect the main line at the main unit. If it labors each time the line is connected, there is an obstruction in the line. If it doesn't labor you have a leak in your line.

No suction I am getting no suction on my central vac at the vac. I do not believe that the piping is plugged up, the vacuum is not creating suction. What are the causes of no suction at the vacuum and how do I take the top half of the Nutone central vac off?

I was using my easy flow central vacuum, and shut it off. When I went to start it up again 5 min later, it would not turn on. I emptied out the filter, and reset the switch.
