Filter I bought this Hoover a few years ago-- just now about to use it first time. I cannot find my user's manual and don't know how to change the filter-- or to clean it or whatever I am supposed to do with it. Also, there is a handle on one side of the unit that seems to be attached to an empty chamber or canister kind of thing. It looks like it should pull out, but it does not budge. I really would like to have a manual, but can't seem to find one. Is there a similar model that is still

My FIL purchased an Electrolux bagless canister vacuum model EL5 76501 last year. When I tried to use it today, the hose keeps pulling out of the power brush whenever I pull it towards me. it doesn't seem like anything has broken off. The only thing I noticed was that the rubber ring washer seems to be flattened. Could it be something that simple or do you think some part has fallen off and gone missing? Regards, Craig Somersett
I believe I've just had the same problem and after searching for a small gray horsehoe clip that needs to first be found and then inserted into the slot for it on the tube section that comes out of the beater bar. Insert this clip from the outside af ... Electrolux Vacuums
Hi, I have a Dirt Devil Model # M08100REDC. I desperately need to change the bag, but I don't see an obvious way to do it. I'm afraid to try pulling on the cloth tab thingy that's just below the handle, between the rubber ring that holds the bag on the vac, because it seems like stuff will fly everywhere from the force required to remove it, and I might not be able to get it back on there. Should I just pull on that cloth tab until the bag comes off? Thanks, Roberta
You can pull on the tab to remove the bag, but probably a better way is to gently pull on the rubber ring that attaches the bag to the back of the vacuum body. If you don't yank and ****, it should come off without spilling the dirt. There may also b ... Dirt Devil Classic M08100 Bagged Handheld Vacuum
I just bought kaz model K76P (M) humidifier in Kyoto. I filled it to the right water level (a bit below) and plugged it in (nothing else is plugged in at that socket). The light comes on, but the water doesn't heat up. I can't read Japanese so can't read the instruction manual but it seems a simple procedure: fill with water, set the heating thing the water, plug in. Am I missing something or is the humidifier defect?

Hello, I have the same model. And though it is three years old, starting from the last month, it does not clean anything anymore. Cannot even pick up one single thing from the floor. Every dirt gets stuck in the hose. I cleaned the hose and cleaned the filters but it still does not pick anything up. Is three years its normal lifetime or do I have the change the filters, instead of cleaning them? Thanks.
I know bissell vacuums are very cheap but they should last more than 3 years. there should be two parts to the dirt cup. remove the dirt cup and above it there should be a round plastic part. unscrew it and check that filter. ... Bissell 6594 PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum

My Mom has a Dirt Devil Featherlite and the belt falls off all the time. I put it on three times today and it falls off within a few minutes. The belt post I put it on doesn't have anything to hold the belt on. Is there supposed to be something holding the belt?

I have a VAX V12 vacuum cleaner which suddenly stopped. The smell indicated Carbon Brush Problems. I contacted a service agent who told me that it was not possible to change the Carbon Brushes brushes on this model and they would need to change the Motor Unit.. To me this sounds very unlikely. Two questions please. Is it possible to change the Carbon Brushes and how do I get the cabinet apart which looks very difficult. I am well qualified electrically to do this job. Regards James Beech
What causes these things to become unbearably loud? We've cleaned evey filter on the machine, pulled every speck of hair and lint off the brushes, changed the belt, no clogs anywhere. I've totally (and I mean totally, down to the brushes on the motor!) torn this thing down and put it back together with no difference. Also have a Eureka bagless, and after minimal use, and almost anal retentive maintance, it does the same thing,to stinkin loud. Wish one would **** up the other to save a trip to th

Hoover F5809 Hello, I seen a few of your post and was hoping you could help me. I just became a member today. My sister gave me her old Hoover Steam Vac-Model F5809. This thing is so dirty and clogged because my sister has pets. So far I've gotten it all taken apart to clean it. I'm not a newbie and taking apart and fixing things. I have fixed things like microwaves, washers, dryers, dishwashers (still learning about TV's-very hard, hehe). Anyway, I got what I believe to be the motor cover off.
That cover is the called the fan cover and is usually pressed on. Tapping on the edge with a flat blade, you may be able to get it off and hope you don't bend it up, you will to put it back on tight enough so it will stay in place. Another thing to ... Vacuums

I have a Eureka Boss Power Plus and the beater bar is rolling, the belt is turning, but after vacuuming up around the litter box (not a lot of litter), when I turn the vacuum off, the litter, or even household dirt, falls out. Have a Eureka Power Plus 12.0 Amps Model 4702 Type A 120 volts and 60 HZ that there is something wrong that it isn't picking up right and you can actually feel the air coming out of it near where the bagless canister attaches. This Vac was my Mom's and she passed away and I think a part went missing maybe when it was taken apart to clean the filter and empty the canister. Need to figure out if
