Having problems with your Electrolux Harmony Canister Vacuum - EL6985 Vacuum ?

Does the turbo nozzel come apart to repair? - Electrolux Harmony Canister Vacuum - EL6985 Vacuum

Answers :

Hi, yes, the turbo nozzle can be broken down with just a little time and effort. The two plastic wheels in the rear pop out, and then you'll see 6 screws on the bottom of the unit. Once these have been removed, gently pry the top and bottom pieces of the turbo nozzle apart, and you'll have access to the belt, gears, and brush inside. Good luck!

I have an electrolux genesis upright vacuum that I bought used about 8 years ago. It has been A great vacuum the best I ever had. I thought the belt had come off so I took it in for repair. They called today and said that the brush rotor motor was bad and it would be around 148.00 dollars to repair. My question is could I buy the part and have my husband replace it or would it be too complicated. Can you still buy an electrolux vacuum comparable to this one and how much are they. Dyson DC23 Vacuum shut off and came on. Thought it was a problem at the electrical outlet as when moving plug it would come on again. Seen canister was full, emptied it and cyclone was quite plugged up so poked out the dirt. Had dog hairs in it as well as some ashes I had just vacuumed. Plugged unit in again and pressed switch. Will not come on. Tried another outlet. Is there a reset button somewhere or could the ashes have seized the motor. What can I try besides taking it to a repair sho

My electrolux oxygen canister cuts on and off. I have to open and close the vacuum, or take the base of the hose off and then re-insert. I have to do all these things before it will start up again. I sometimes shake the hose around, then it will come back on. If I try to dust with the dust brush (like a lamp shade or shelf) and the suction pulls against the object, the vacuum goes off for awhile. Sometimes I'll have to reset the vacuum by unplugging the electric cord. I never get to finis

No power. I was getting intermittent power with my miele s558 midsize canister, but it was predicated with me fiddling with the retractable cord to get it to come on and then not move the canister while I was vacuuming. Now I can get no power. I have taken it apart and can see no issues with connectors, cord, casings, etc. It all looks fine. It is about 5 years old and I have had no problems with it.

I cannot charge my two year old electrolux pronto. I purchased a brand new hand held vacuum for it, but even the new one does not charge. When I plug in the cord nothing happens. If I turn on either the long handle or the portable unit within the long unit, the blue charging light comes on for a few seconds, then out. This tells me that the circuit is intact without a broken wire somewhere. I took it all apart carefully and could see nothing broken or out of place. On re-constructing it, it

Again, I have a Bissel Model 3760-4. The same problem as everyone else. The beater bar will not turn. Took apart, nothing.
